Is PoE2 Falling Apart? How Long Until We Get Real Fixes?

Like I said, what you do with the data and/or how the "climate" looks like, is up to you.

Yeah, but people like you claim it's because of the 0.2.0 patch. Don't you?
Could be. The available information implies heavily that the decline seen in 0.2.0 happens because ppl don't like it for whatever reason, but making a truthful argument about it, when it's falsifiable, is nothing I can provide.

If it's about my opinion, yes, I think it's highly likely that the patch itself is the cause.

I have the feeling you often times don't make that very clear and you might make the impression what you say is fact and not just your opinion.

You are free to feel whatever you want, but I normally present something as an opinion if I cannot base it on hard evidence or avoid presenting it as an opinion in the first place, and just display data.
Would be interesting to know what you think are some of these cases that seem to give you that feeling "often times".

You'd have to pay me money for me to look that up.
OP - I'm personally gonna wait until either 0.3.0, or maybe even full release if the game does not improve past what 0.1 was.

I agree with your sentiment. Not happy that they nerfed everything into meaninglessness. Not really anything to grind towards and be excited for anymore. This must change or I'm not coming back. Just my own thoughts

Sure. That's why I said you are free to feel whatever you want. At least I haven't found anything in the last 30 pages of my forum posts that would support your feeling, but hey, anyone makes mistakes.

Thank You All for This Discussion—Now, What’s Next?
I really appreciate everyone coming together for this conversation. It's great to see how many of us genuinely want to improve the game, though it's also clear that some are just defending their stance without much logic.
When we talked about the player drop, some of us analyzed the charts correctly—considering the patch release date and comparing it to other games. Meanwhile, others dismissed it without looking at the full picture.
From this discussion, it’s clear that if GGG actually reads our comments and takes action, they could turn things around.
Some mentioned that fixing the game takes time—which I agree with. However, the biggest mistake in this patch was that they made too many drastic changes at once, creating issues they can't fix quickly. That’s why the player count dropped so sharply.
At this point, they have two options:
✅ Act fast and minimize their losses by addressing the major problems immediately.
✅ Accept the loss for now and focus on fixing things one by one instead of nerfing everything at once.
Going forward, they need to avoid this mistake—instead of making massive changes all at once, they should tweak one or two things, get feedback, fix issues properly, and then move on to the next adjustments.
💬 Despite the current frustration, I still believe in PoE2's potential. The developers have created something special, and with the right decisions, they can bring the game back to its former glory. We, as a community, are here because we care—our feedback is meant to help, not harm. If GGG listens and takes meaningful action, PoE2 can still become an incredible experience for all of us.
Let’s hope they take the steps needed to make this game what it was meant to be.

thgis is exactly why the wait until league is over to fix things method they adopted after the 1st time they attempted to fix things is horrible. waiting for the problems to spiral out and then attempting to bandaid them in between seasons is going to just lead to what drove so many away.

GGG is having a blast because they made game for themselves based on their ''vision'' and we served only as a financers.

We were sold a lie , scammed for money and that's about it really.

Its pretty unfair to accuse GGG of scamming. They delivered a totally playable game, 100s of times more polished in Early Access then triple-A's of major publishers on release date. Its just THE VISION is not what everyone wants or expects.

I don't know about that... viewing PoE2 as a scam only depends on where you start in the PoE2 timeline.
