Please stop making the game easier and change endgame

There is a difference between something being difficult (which is fine) and something being a straight up slog/bore (less fine). Dawn of the hunt definitely falls in the latter category.

Having difficult encounters where you need to be more cautious is fine. Having difficult boss fights throughout the campaign and in endgame is fine. Juicing my maps out, taking risks with them being more difficult is fine.

The problem with this season is that I'm not rewarded for any of it whatsoever. Loot and currency drops are non existing. I spend all this time farming bosses, rares etc etc, praying to get even one ex/map with 100%+ rarity find, it's ridiculous and I feel like I waste my time.

From what I've read GGG are adjusting drops/loot in the next incremental which is good.

i see a lot of posts where people say the sky is falling, game to easy, but have you actually stopped and really looked at what's going on?

does it make sense that white minion mobs had 400% more health than was intended?


I had absolutely no problem in day 1 of the league, in fact to me everything was normal since i play a lot of SSF. After the so called "bug fixes", the game got considerably easier than 0.1. And still, people are asking more concessions. If the community wasnt being such a crybaby at the league start, they would not nerf the campaign. IMO they got in panic mode since all the pathetic streamers were complaining. They did what they asked, they still whined, and they left to LE, where they will wait for the next fad.

i am ok with difficulty. and it makes game less boring compared with 0.1.0. but pls make the game more rewarding! i have 150+ rarity. i literally only drop one div every few hours in t15+ maps. is this fun? hell no. wtf i am playing.
also the build diversity is literally gone. it is already bad in 0.1.0. now after the nerf, all weapon sucks as hell. everyone is playing spear. looting experience sucks, as long as not a a int dex item. i dont bother to look. that makes. most of rare items useless.

People constantly wanting easier stuff, skip monsters, more movements speed to avoid any risk are like spoiled kids that demand things NOW without putting ANY effort into anything.
Besides, these people are never satisfied and keep complaining no matter what about anything, while ruining the game to others by wanting it to be a cookie clicker.

The game is too easy and boring already. Make the difficulty like it was day 1 release. That were the good days.
Interesting thing about more difficulty in a game like this, it'll actually funnel more and more people just into the same build; so, already underperforming skills and ascendency options will just see less play. I wonder if everyone asking for more difficulty is playing LS or Kitava.

As someone who has played/done what would somewhat be considered challenging games/content: Monster Hunter since 1, Armored Core since 2, all the fromsoft sousborne games since DS1, Savage Raiding in ff14, WoW prog raiding through sunwell and ICC in TBC and WoTLK; I don't specifically want a game to be "easy" but I would really prefer it be internally congruent with itself, and on many fronts PoE 2 seems at odds with what it wants to be.

If it's going to be a more challenging game, there needs to be serious adjustments to mob damage, speed, density, and mod rolls. Earlier today I got proximal tangibility and temporal bubble on a rare and that's annoying but not even the worst combination. Honestly, I don't think GGG has the know how to even make it work. They've simply grabbed a bunch of ideas from other games, namely d3 imo, and grafted it onto poe 1's design philosophy without understanding how and why the other ideas worked to begin with.

I know it's an unpopular opinion. But please stop making stuff easier. I don't want poe1 or LE or diablo4, I enjoy the difficulty and the first couple days of the season finally made me feel good. Instead of making things easier, maybe just buff the loot you get such as jewelers orbs or more worthy rare modifiers.

The endgame, though I enjoy it, should be something completely new that sets it apart of from Poe1. Maybe something new that specifically unlocks at level 95 minimum and beat a hard ass boss that's like post-campaign where you have a system of just bosses or even post-story and level 95-100 unique items only that drop? Just throwing ideas out there but something needs to set it apart.
