I just keep trying

Its not a lie. Hundreds of thousands of people are currently in game enjoying themselves. But who knows. Keep attempting to blackmail the devs to get what you want. Just like the lie LE was going to destroy poe2. Yet only 145k are playing LE right now.

POE2 has 100k on steam alone not counting for the game launcher.

Simple, there are plenty of people like me that DO enjoy the direction of the game. Im a casual myself, and i dont have any of those problems. You arent qualified to speak on behalf of an entire demographic, just for your own experience. In my opinion, the game has already been dumbed down enough to make it easy for casuals to play...if anything, a little too easy. Any easier, and you are just asking for them to make this game like all the other ARPGS that already exist on the market. Go play one of those, they literally built those games for you to win. A nice, chill, casual experience. Let the devs build a game for a different audience. Poe 1 is still a great alternative for the things you are asking for, and last epoch as well.
I share your sentiments in this post and in your previous one as well. PoE 2 is really the only isometric ARPG I really enjoy. The core mechanics are promising, but the game is obviously not perfect and needs a lot of tuning and fixing, like for example rituals in 0.2 are already mechanically a lot better than in 0.1, but they still need a lot of work.

I hope outliers like lightning amazon is a mistake that will be nerfed because otherwise the content has to be tuned for that, with instant deaths, invulnerable boss phases, breach as intended blow stuff up instead of overtuned endgame mechanic that needs a rework.

I feel like even the loot situation is fine for the most part.

A campaign in a seasonal ARPG should take 6-8 hours tops or be skippable, period. IDK why anyone let alone GGG, the creators PoE, need to have this explained to them.

They don't need it explained to them because it's just an arbitrary rule that you made up and decided was true. Like literally says who? What you're really saying is "PoE2 campaign shouldn't be longer than PoE1 because I don't like that."

It's a genre where you're supposed to replay the campaign at the start of every season and then every time you want to try a different build, and if you're on HC, every time you die.

Even the best story games get old after a few playthroughts, let alone a few playthroughs within a span of a couple months. Most people don't replay games, ever.

And poe2's campaign, while good, is not nearly as good as these story-driven games. Making it 20 hours long and then providing NO option to skip it is pure madness.

IDK when a game goes mostly negative on steam maybe it's not a good idea to tell people to go play something else.

Daily reminder that at least half of those reviews came from people who didn't play 0.2 and were just review brigading because they were upset by GGG's decision to divert resources away from PoE1.

Nice cherrypicking. These may be people who bought the game on steam but play from the launcher. And 0.2 update came with a torrent which allowed you to update the game early but didn't work with steam client.

Again, actually good games don't get mostly negative. But yeah keep coping.

The game is getting mostly negative reviews from the toxic poe1 community trying to turn the game into poe1.5

It's been more than 2 weeks since 0.2 was released. Your narrative may satisfy you, but that doesn't make it true. What your screenshot shows is a lot of players with a variety of total hours played, who stopped playing shortly after 0.2 was released and have negative feedback. There is no indication that your assumption is true.

That "toxic poe1 community" made poe2 possible in the first place.

i have 0 hours in poe 1, and i leave negative review.
I don't love the campaign but I don't think it's that hard. And there isn't a ton to complain about for what it's worth. It's certainly not too hard and I think it skill checks you at appropriate times. If your struggling your build is probably ass cheeks and you should check out a leveling guide. I beat the campaign with some pretty weak ass builds. To be honest if the endgame didn't improve I wouldn't care at all, the endgame is where most people spend their time. I don't even know what they would do to make it easier vs just giving the bosses less health and doing less damage, and where I think a case can be made for less one shot mechanics, it's all within the realm of reason.

I would like an option to bypass the campaign though but I understand that's unlikely. As much as Jonathan is wondering "well how can we make the campaign more fun so you don't think it takes too long" I just don't care about game stories 99% of the time. I don't care about going on a series of fetch quests. I just wanna build my racecar and put it on the track and watch it go vroom

Congratulations. Doesn't mean you get to dictate how the game is developed.
