Perhaps poopbutts2200 should have listen to the 40+ interviews where GGG clearly outlined what they vision was, how the gameplay should feel, and the overall direction POE 2 will be headed. They also broke down what target audience they wanted. Ill give you a quick break down

POE 1- for the 1 click builds that require 0 skill to play, so much loot you need to filter 99.99% of it, and just overall a game that requires barely any attention at all.

POE 2- For those who like engaging combat, who want to grind for hours to get a halfway decent item, and for those who want a more mechanical base game.

PoE1 equals unknow for me (I preferred D2/D3/D4)
PoE2 equals Amazing fun experience and big enjoyment before 0.2 best ARPG
PoE2 equals FLUSTRATION and no fun after 0.2 - senseless game

Nice pseudo-argument.

The complaint is not "we can't clear the entire game with 1-button builds", because we can.

The complaint is "build diversity is a joke because of all the restrictions enforced on us".
