Respeccing Ascendancy Classes And More

Still no loot; therefore still no play. Please address the loot so players feel a sense of progression, especially earlier in the campaign. It feels like we are forced to play 'Ruthless'. I understand wanting alchemy orbs and exalts to be rare but it gets to an almost comical state when you're struggling to even have enough trans, aug and regal orbs. Are we supposed to be disenchanting magic items for the first 3 acts?

In addition, saturating the economy more with exalted orbs would be beneficial because:
-A lot of items (especially uniques) which are currently priced at 1ex have a wider range and a chance to be placed at 1-5ex as the value of 1 exalt becomes less.
-It would actually make sense for players to use an exalt to craft rather than it being regarded as 'trolling' by the community in 99% of cases. (unless you have a god tier item with empty affixes).

Longer term, the game's skill gem system (them being tied to weapons) and passive system is very lacking and neither inspire creativity. Everything is just a percentile numbers change to either an offensive or defensive stat. POE1 had much more flexibility in how support gems interacted with skills and you felt less pigeon-holed into builds.

Game is otherwise in a good state, thank you for the steady patches.

As each new Rune Tier is unlocked we are removing the lower runes from the drop pool. This is to stop you getting spammed with lesser runes at high levels. We will adjust drop rates as that occurs so that you get a more reasonable number of total runes.

This wasn't necessary... this is solved by lootfilters. On poe2filter.com it takes literally one second to switch off lesser or regular runes; all while still making an exception for the rune types you're still looking for -- typically iron runes (but it depends on your build and should be your choice); so you can keep on combining those. Why make this change for runes, and not for all the other types of loot?

I agree on this we need more loot so I can progress I don't mind trading for some items but I want to actually play the game to progress

Now there will be less low runes in the drop pool taking the place of what could be exalt or other currency. This is a great change I think . Who cares about lower runes anyway at that point

Can GGG devs create a better grenade skill besides cluster grenade at crossbow highest tier? Does anyone actually use that 10 sec cd grenade skill at all? And if for what? Please consider changing it out for a high physical damage projectile with very small AoE (something like an orbital strike) or even just a high physical dmg grenade that doesn’t put out small dmg clusters. It’s very janky to use bleed effectively with armor piercing rounds/high velocity rounds. So many other skills convert too much to elemental for any good xbow bleed build to scale up for endgame. Eventually had to respec from bleed altogether and go pure elemental due to no high tier skills exist with enough xxx% pure physical to apply decent bleeds. See no use for cluster grenades… Would be great if those last tier skills were much more meaningful to different build types. Would like to see some last tier skills for classes even boosted a bit more to be that more impactful too. Too much to dream?

Awesome stuff! Thank you for all you guys do, and big thanks to Zizaran for making this all happen. I hope one day SirGog gets the spotlight with the Devs as well, since he has some decent fixes and suggestions.
