Path of Exile 2 - Upcoming Changes

I don't get you banning people abusing ritual 'exploit' (even though it didn't even look like an exploit, they just used the ingame item (tablet) exactly for its written functionality, it was your oversight not testing it), meanwhile people who actually DUPED and clearly abused nohp sanctum challenge exploits with chayula monk in season1 got away with no bans or their duped stuff removed.
This looks like clear preferential treatment of similar cases, or rather a lack of stance on that problem. Whenever some other exploit pops up, it is now unclear if you will do something about it or just let people abuse it.

I would prefer for you guys to clearly explain what do you consider a bug/exploit (and explain why you call ritual tablet thing an 'exploit') and what isn't because that too is now unclear. What if someone finds a really strong build and you guys won't like it, will you too ban those people and call such build an 'exploit' because you didn't test it ?. Again, no clear stance on the problem, no detailed explanation, lets our imagination run wild there.

Merc is a shit show. Nothing matters except lightning skills. But with crossbow, Deadeye/Huntress is better. WTF even create mercenary?

so, when do you ban the temporalis dupers? or account sharers?

banning people for an obvious oversight on your end is kinda bad move. like yeah, im all for removing the generated currency and stuff. but come on. YOU implemented an UNTESTED tablet which allowed infinite rerolls and dont expect that people try to build for zero cost infinite rerolls?

i begin to question if you really understand your customers. well.. based on the 0.2 backlash the answer is probably clear. no you dont. or you dont see your old supporters as customer anymore.

Amen
Good steps in right direction, but you know, alot of players couldn't even handle campaign with your current difficulty!

How is using the unlimited reroll tablet to get unlimited rerolls a ban worthy exploit? Did no one realize that people were going to reduce reroll cost as low as possible? If they did, what would be the acceptable amount to reduce it by? Would a 1 favor cost reroll be ok, or is that still an "exploit"? I never even made it to end game so this doesn't affect me in the slightest, but I worry about the standard you're setting. A globally known account sharer never gets banned, but 301 players optimizing a mechanic get banned because you don't like the outcome? How are we supposed to know when a combination of items is too powerful?

Mistakes happen in early access I understand, but accept responsibility and don't try and pass it off like those players were using some really obtuse and sketchy interaction. All they did was use the item as described to its fullest potential.

Delete the item, delete the wealth, but be consistent and clear on what is ban worthy and what isn't

its a tough call.

All your points are valid.

I d just counter with : At what point do you think these people realized they were doing something wrong? Was it when they had gotten 10 raw divs from 1 ritual map? 5 purple omens? 10 purple omens? The first mirror? Second mirror? Do you think it was impossible to know what they were doing was wrong?

They still did it.

What do you think the message would be if they got no punishment?

There are certainly some issues with GGG being consistent on what they choose to enforce, but if you look at this case in isolation, i think the outcome was reasonable given the bad situation.
Great update. Thank you for listening to the feedback. This is early access after all and working with your community will ultimately make the best game possible.

Thank you for banning the exploiting accounts. All of those players knew they were exploiting a bug, and they weighed up the risk and took it. They were caught out and now can suffer the retrocession for the rest of this league. That sort of behaviour does not benefit the player base at all, we’re better off without them.
Didn't the staff find that the boss of the Skma trial can brush indefinitely? The studios are infinitely brushing and sublimating people. ...

Mate the tablet literally said you can reroll an unlimited amount of times, they intended it

Yes clearly they wanted people to abuse it so they can get unlimited currency and ruin the economy so everything will be over priced and and force everyone to sue the same "strategy" just to get anywhere, how could I be so blind?...
"Now that we have a lot of the nerfs out of the way,.."

Nothing more to add, nothing more to do from us. Not even playing anymore.

1 league ban seem fair instead of perma for ingame mechanic abuse.
