Dawn of the Hunt - What We’re Working On
There's a big gap between what your vision is and how you properly execute it in the game. Most of your changes feel like spaghetti being thrown against the wall for some idealistic notion only to be fully untested and almost strictly to tone down the high level player builds at the expense of everyone else.
Now, if it's not a quality of life change, most positive changes you tend to make is the ones curtailing your overreach, mistakes or mishandling of things you probably shouldn't of done in the first place then you kind have this deer in the headlights look when the fires start. It's not a good look. You're becoming untrustworthy in a sense even if you end up making solutions to the problems you guys are clearly hellbent. At minimum, you guys should be more forthright about nerfs and more cautious in the way you go about them. Could of just been monster health or it could of been nerfing damage. How you didn't know doing both and IN THE CAMPAIGN wouldn't be a problem is kind of nuts. lol This isn't even your guys first time doing weird mess like this. |

Just want to point out that palm skills for charges is one of the worst things about the monk and doesn't work at all past act 2. But sure I guess it might be a solution before you get to act 3 and get combat frenzy. There's still no good way to generate charges in boss scenarios though.
The entire game feels like it is designed to work in act 1-2 only. Last edited by Kashou#2868 on Apr 7, 2025, 3:10:47 AM

Unbelievable!
The only characters actually worth playing right now are the brand-new ones — and you even buffed them instead of nerfing! :) What an absolute joke. And of course, not a single word about the sorceresses. Quick question: are you planning to rename Stormweaver anytime soon? Because right now, calling it "Stormweaver" is about as poetic joke as calling a cigarette lighter a flamethrower. At this point, players are seriously debating whether to bother with these so-called "spells," or just beat mobs over the head with the staff like a caveman. Honestly, it might even be more effective. But wait, it gets even worse. I doubt you even realize — no, I’m actually sure you don’t — you created this ascension path for the sorceress called Chronomancer. She was never overpowered, had to rely on clever play, but now, thanks to the Stormweaver nerf, you’ve completely obliterated her. One of the more creative, versatile classes with tons of interesting skills is now basically dead and buried. And yet here you are, buffing the shiny new class that 80% of players are already using... OMFG. Honestly, it’s like you’ve entered a full-blown race with Blizzard to see who can burn their own game to the ground faster — and let me tell you, you’re sprinting after them like your life depends on it! Anything about network predictive mode? This was mentioned almost 5 months ago on a livestream QandA that this was being worked on.

I can’t believe you guys barely listened to any feedback of the community in this patch. Only positive change I saw was allowing 5 portals in endgame, but it’s now impossible to get to endgame unless you play one of the broken meta builds. I’m out until your next patch. It’s crazy how bad you are screwing up. I don’t want a bunch of new crap. I want the game to not feel like crap. My attacks barely do anything to white mobs, it takes so much time to recover from stun/freeze, and bosses/yellows have the most ridiculous amount of health. Seriously, WTF GGG!!!!

I've been enjoying the update and thought I'd give some honest feedback about the pain points with the area size and why it feels bad. I don't think its due to the lack of content but rather the amount of dead ends.
Act 3 specifically is really bad for this. You can spend waaay too much time trying to find the way through the drained lake and your reward for doing so is the opportunity to do it again in the past. I can understand wanting to make the map feel vast but on our end it just translates to a chore having to slog through a casino of dead ends just to progress the plot. Serious feels bad when you spend time clearing through a section just to have to backtrack and try a different direction. |

PLEASE, can we have movement skills added in to the game.
Whirling Blades, Frost Blink, Shield Slam PLEASE just give us SOMETHING. |

Stop trying so hard to make this into a Souls type game, especially during the freaking campaign when most people have trash gear and barely any support gems. I know you want engaging combat but make that crap happen in maps, not the campaign.
