GGG, I'm sorry, but you guys sound so out of touch with the community. More than ever. It feels like this was a rushed patch with zero play testing. Is there even play testers? I know the sad truth is, WE are the play testers though. I'm not really opposed to this but when you revert things and make the SAME mistakes over and over the faith with your player base continues to erode.
I don't think 95% of your player base wants "the vision". However, if the continued goal and future of this game is to be "Ruthless mode+Souls-like" can you please just tell the community this is how it is? I would respect that and then the people can stop expecting a game different than that. Because it's very unfair to keep dragging along a player-base if that is the goal and throwing little band-aids here and there to appease the masses only to revert back to the thing no one wants each new patch. There continues to be a very large parallel to Diablo 2 and what happened after that and into Diablo 3. Having a template of what works and then just abandoning it in a sequel to just push away all your loyal players is just insane. But if this is the "vision" please let us know. I bought the giga supporter pack for PoE2 because I had faith it was going to be the future of this genre and I'm regretting it more each day. Perhaps it WILL be the future, but it doesn't seem like the future most of us want. Please listen to your PLAYERS. |

This post is kind of tone deaf. It addresses what they want to address but it does not address the common theme that the game isn't fun, not simply that monsters have too much health. The slow combos are boring when monsters move fast and the first three acts take a couple dozen hours to slog through.

I have never EVER in my life been let down by a game / game company so much before. I along with everyone else was so hyped for the next iteration of the game, even after your trailer you posted, we were even more excited!! It looked so promising.
3 days in and GRINDING through the campaign, where every fight feels long, drawn out and tedious I realized I’m just not enjoying the “slow pace” approach you guys are taking. I dont’ think anyone is. The reality is , no one wants to play an AARPG at a slow pace. We play these games and poe1 was so successful because making busted builds, or even strong builds and blowing things up is fun. I’m sure you guys know that. There’s a HUGE difference in a souls game where you can have an epic boss fight with everything you’ve built up, and an aarpg where you LITERALLY have 1-5 spells and you press the same buttons over and over and over. When the maps are 3-5x bigger than what we are used to, with paths that literally go nowhere, nothing linear, no incentive to explore it adds to this effect. Who wants to spend 10 minutes going one direction, pressing the same abilities to SLOWLY grind down monsters.. for them to finally die and drop nothing useful. Then you finally get to the edge of the map and .. what do you know .. nothing there. Then you have to run to the other side of the map… same thing. Nothing there.. after 15 minutes of slow paced repetitive button pressing with no rewards, I think we are all feeling very burnt out and bored before we even leave a zone. I don’t like this, “let’s slow down the game” approach. No one wants to feel weak in a game where you are supposed to be gods. And the worst feeling is , when you spend hours making a build, thinking about all the details to get to mapping and realize if you dont follow one of the metas you can only go so far. Delirium was my worst experience in 1.0. I literally had to reroll a meta build just to get by. Please for the love of god stop slowing the game down and give everyone what they want. It’s still early access and there are SOME people who will be patient, but many are going to move on before the games actually out. |

This annoucement is tone deaf and out of touch with reality, 0.1 minions would routinely die to boss with one or two hits, only with good investment on gear and weapons, it's better, and yet its getting nerf to oblivion, arsonist now needing 15 hits to kill a white mobs ffs.
And Loots, basically the same as during release last december,fighting a rare mob for over 4 mins and what we get is 50 gold and some white/ magic base that is irrelevant to your character. what are you trying to achieve with your game? what is your vision? you are making the same mistake from kalandar to poe2 every few months, the same old issue would spring out. Fix the crashes as top prio please.
Getting "server disconnected" on every zone load and being rollbacked on loot is asinine experience. There'e also derver crashes mid map too. None of this was happening before patch for me |
