Dawn of the Hunt - What We’re Working On

The Bigger Problems are:

Crafting is SHIT in the current state of Game ...Not rewarding just aweful and after each craft u think "what a waste of time and Material".

Progression is SHIT. I don´t want to ran act 1-3 for 2 times and about 5-15 Hours just to get into Endgame and finally play the Game

Playing is not Rewardable...cmon it´s a hack and slay so please let Mobs drop something useful or more class specific drops.

It´s not fun anymore cause the fun comes from being "Powerful" and slay a lot of Mobs in a short amount of time.

U can´t even test or find new Builds cause the setback and Gold cost in the passive tree gets in the way of testing and triyng out new Builds.

The Framedrops and Performance is totally unacceptable on so many Maps u get Killed without seeing the effect or Mob wich kills you.

Its Just frustating to play a game wich takes to long to Progress and if u do so u still get nothing valuable for your Build or char.But sometimes u get very lucky but if so u even can´t test it because the Gold Cost is limiting you.
If u manage to overcome all those problems then still u get killed from effects you cant see cause of the fucked up performance.

I Know its a Early Acc. but damn im 1500 hours in this game and i know what im talking bout it´s just not fun anymore and gaming is about having fun!

...and last but not least WE NEED SOCKETS ON Wands and we need Quality on Wands to finally do something!!!!

Massive difference between just hate to hate and providing actual criticism last I checked the devs listen to the feedback and acknowledged concerns already working to fix it and more so relax

Yeah you guys pretty much ruined the game completely for your average player it went from fun to now this is a second job. I'm not the type to spend time replying to something online or providing feedback but this game I actually WAS really having fun with so I'm hoping you all see this and address it because even though I'm speaking about one class most of the community also feels like you all went too far a lot of people i know including most likely myself very soon stopped playing after this patch. A challenge is fun but what you all have right now is a second job a game that the top of the top play just to farm currency items or make money off of streaming and one thing in common most of them feel the same or are using the new broken class huntress to breeze through endgame rn...

Problem:
I mained Demon form (I like the idea of being able to transform wish there was a vampire lord ascendancy...) One the way it was before wasn't great but that was okay because it was still manageable just took a lot of investment to be able to do the high level content. Throw that on top of the fact you have to wait like 6-7 mins before a end game boss encounter like bro. Now not only does the dmg suck and now I lose out on an ascendancy point or have to be stuck with only 10 stacks (not much dmg gain there for the investment it still takes to make sure I do die from how much 10 stacks now chunks away on top of having to make sure my resistance is good or i just get one shot anyways) now even if i spend that point to uncap it well max stacks i can get is only around 18 -20 which for the amount of health i would have to go out of the way not only in points but also gear to invest in I might as well just be sitting at 5 stacks in terms of dmg.

Solution (please please consider it):
You want a balanced demon class here is what you need.
- Max cap at start was needed because without it leveling using demon form was impossible until second ascendancy.
- max cap 10 is not enough the form at it's core takes so much investment that would otherwise go to dmg (like other classes can do) make the max cap an optional player set Value so that we can choose and make it immediate (no one wants to wait 6 mins to be able to fight a boss or clear a map half way just to have to reset and wait another 6 mins) hell give it a cap of 50 if you want.
- Max cap if not that then at least set it to 20 10 is really nothing compared to other ascendancy that dont have to invest in health regen (not much on the skill tree so it is Hard AF to invest in) on top of resistance cap

Problem
Pretty much every dmg node for demon form also in some way almost kills or does kill you for using unless you have very heavy investment or play at a very slow speed which will also kill you because monsters are faster than the flash and will one shot you.

Solution:
Reduce the dmg it does to you or make it make sense for a demon master of fire born of fire gets killed by their own fire... Maybe idk give demon form innate fire res like a base 25% or idk make it equal to a % of health energy shield intelligence mana something pleaseeee or just rework the nodes to be usefull but not do any self dmg at all or make it make sense and have it be chaos dmg (even still chaos dmg is darkness and demons are darkness) why is a master of fire born of fire sooooo weak to fire?


Lastly:
What builds do you want us to play if this is how you guys are happy with the game being show us how to play it make some ascendancy build guides because at least from pre patch demon form I was already dying every single map at some point due to health loss or from me doing dmg to myself on accident but if i waited long enough and if i played smartly i could clear content now bro after all that investment made I can't do anything on top of all the other dmg nerfs the class is useless it is bricked and unplayable to the point where I if it stays like this will not be playing for very long. The people who play this game play to have fun we have jobs families life problems etc. I get trying to make it a challenge but yall went wayyyy too far to the point where now there are like 2 classes people are playing so that they can clear content.


Also:
Ya'll said you didnt want one shot builds this and that first 1 shot builds for classes like demon form took soooo much time and investment most people never got to but then you all release huntress which even after the latest bug fixes is still just cruising through endgame .... make it make sense
Maybe you should focus on poe1, cause poe2 sucks
Edit: 2 ... 2 points to uncap it just to only get to 18-20 stacks and still get oneshot.

The good:
starting out demon form capped is a great idea because until you hit 2 ascendancy points or so you just dont have the resources to even use it.

Fixes:

Demon Flame cap- have it be an initial cap and make the max 50, 60 hell even 100 but let players allocate into how many stacks it actually stops at within that range.

Self DMG: With how much you already have to invest in life regen (hard to get not very much at all in the tree and for whats is there it is far out of the way of dmg nodes) Having the self dmg be so insanely high is wild to the point where we become our biggest threat because 9/10 we one shot ourselves
Just remove the self dmg think of something better but taking fire dmg to myself as a demon born and master of fire dmg is just sooo very bad and makes no sense.

Would be cool to instead gain buffs and even have a visual affect from how much fire dmg builds up on the player it could be like increase dmg but at the cost of lowering mana like the fire is so intoxicated to the demon fire lord that it makes them more primal thus reducing mana from intelligence bonus.

Infernal flame:
One shot to self final game boss in it's current form. instead have it play off the above yes you deal fire dmg to self giving the buff but instead of decreasing the pool of mana which is gone it increases the pool of infernal flame making it happen less often or something unique and fun - could even have a self slow debuff attached to it the more flame you have the more intoxicated / primal you become causing you to move slower the higher the flame is

Demon dog:
Lets be real the only reason anyone used it in the first place was to make using demon form at all a little more manageable with how much self dmg the ascen does and how much you have to invest or sacrifice in terms of res or other def to be able to do dmg (cool risk reward but execution bad) now demon dog which barely works in demon form among many persistent buff, aura or minion things is now just a dog that deals just a tickle of fire dmg. - Useless

Again its a demon fire dog give it a cool mechanic around that if you all dont want it to leech some f the player dmg taken. Make it so as it takes fire dmg it gains stacks causing it to multiply into more dogs and possibly give the player a way to feed it this fire idk would be cool and fun.

Huge problem I forgot to mention:
Persistent buff allocation was bugged before but not it is very very very bugged/unusable at least for controller players not sure about kb/m. Also before and most def now there are not a lot of good fire spells at all firestorm sucks flame ball dmg is tragic flameblast ... well that one was actually in a good spot it could have used a very small nerf but now it is trash. So in demon form what flame skills is there really to use. the way the game plays and how the skills are now there isn't much reason to use fire skills except as a minion fire build not using demon form at all where minions do all the dmg.


I would play POE1 I really would but hate to say it my first ARPG was diablo 3 on controller and so point and click I just can't do I tried POE1 many times over the years with controller plugins that controller support is the one thing POE2 got a little more than half way right.

It may be weird been a PC player for like 10plus years there are just certain games i play on controller and certain games I only play using keyboard and mouse

Really lack of controller support is the only reason I'm not on POE1 rn. Diablo4 I don't even want to mention here idk what it was about that game but something was just missing like the endgame there was just terrible and lack of content and focus on microtransactions
Please make light stun less unbearable. Who is it for? It's not fun in the least. I have stun resist on tree and gear and still can't even get my moves off consistently sometimes and it just feels really bad?

Choose your philosophy, either you want this to be a slow game (which I disagree with since it will be less fun but i'll still play it because I love you guys) where you take 4 seconds to charge your melee attacks like perfect strike or other various skills that take literal seconds to cast even with speed buffs. Or you want to add light stun.

It's not fun at all, please address this in upcoming patches or unfortunately I do not see myself forcing myself to play this game much more which would be a huge bummer.
