GGG, create your game. Dedicate your time to it. It seems like creating the game, making a new season, and having poe1 isn't sitting well with you. We appreciate you trying, but we'd rather have something we like. It's also not good for the future of poe2. It was very nice until this patch.

Fix magic find. You wanted a game where you could craft with ease. We'll where is my exalts and crafting material in the beginning of the game? I just played not even 2 months ago and was dropping an exalt from every bass in a1 with no rarity now none?

Make it so all weapon types have more than 2 useable skills. All these combos and gimmicks are insufferable come anywhere near end game. One button builds are what most people want, create nice utility and supplemental damage skills along side it not an extra 1-3 steps for make a skill even do damage to begin with, that has got to stop.

Would be swell if you would also refund or add the gems that were eaten by the Dawn of the hunt update in player inventory or at least in a remove only tab.
Really shitty move to delete a gem slot. Logged in on my monk on standard league and noticed my Controlled Metamorphosis which i spent a good amount of divines on, has disappeared and is nowhere to be found. Can you please properly test your games before releasing? It's really difficult to believe so much stuff was overlooked by QA. Regarding your views on the game: 1. You cannot have a slow-paced game like elder rings / soulslike in a game that relies on trash mobs dying fast, and often. Pick one. Either make a soulslike, or decide on a design philosophy which is true for all ARPGs. 2. You have got to be more consistent in your communication. Half of the crap that went down with this patch was NOT communicated. 3. The loot boxes. This is such a EA move to make. Really! If you are hoping to keep people glued to the game, don't do it by exploiting mechanics that are cheap you know will work on the younger audience (gambling for stats, gambling for items, gambling for MTX, and gambling for drops). Sorry, but still feels like shit. White mobs kill my minions and im down to 40% of my ife by one hit.
I using potionS just to kill some white mobs. And im doing like no damage. Putting flammability on white mobs! This cant be true! When im doing bosses it takes so long i think im going to die from old age before they die. Never had thi sbefore in any other game or poe league but from second one my character feels shit and this is no fun. There seems to be no progression tho im lleveling, buying stuff, upgrading my gems and putting in runes. Just a really bad experience and no fun at all. And no, it doesnt feel rewarding when i kill a boss after the 10th time. It feels like i have wasted my time and i hope i never have to do that shit again. I mean, yeah, it's a step in the right direction, but honestly ?
The game was hard enough, it was just buggy and lacking a lot of things, it wasn't necessary AT ALL to make it harder. Basicly what's utterly broken still is, what was bad is even worse. No joke, crossbow and grenades, one of the overhelming point that everybody agreed on it was : cluncky, kinda useless, damage where more than meh, cooldown where atrocious, so what did you decide on ? You limit the instances, you nerf the damage, you double to triple the cooldown, and you make them spread less making them more a boss options and not a clear option anymore. This patch killed crossbow, and it was already on life support, you could play a fun grenadier by playing a chronomancer, theory builded one on POB before the patch was know, it was around 10 millions DPS thanks to ultra fast cooldown by taking everything that reduce the cooldown. Now my POB show me damage under a million on normal bosses (not taking into consideration pinnacle bosses resistance etc), it's a heavy gear dependant build but around level 84 you could shine, now it would be miracle if you're not overtaken by white mobs. Same for a Ice conversion sunder tremor build, damage were butchered, going from T15 capable to T10 with difficulty. You see that Acolyte of Chayula is the least played class since launch, what do you do ? You still nerf it by nerfing the only things that made him usable. You can't balance a game based on the 1% without thinking about the consequence for the 99% base left. Not everybody play meta build, not everybody play streamer build, but by balancing everything to the ground and aiming your monster balance at the sky, of course it's not gonna work for people, and they'll be incentivized to play streamer build, that will be nerfed in the upcoming patches, that's the reason I only play gimmick build that are carefully crafted not to be insanely powerfull on my own without sharing it, so I can be safe from the "Nerf Hammer of The Dev" (this one needs to be nerfed.), but with those changes in the patches and the hotfixes, yeah, most of the builds are now unusable, and they where fun and not overly strong. It's limiting the possibility of build and mess around, the base difficulty of the game just before the patch was fine, it was a little on the too much side (because white mobs hits for 3k and life is useless) but some minor tweak on the damage that monster do would have make it great. But no, you took the other route, punishing the player, buffing the monsters. |
