Ancestral Spirits skill isn't Summoning Minions

After acquiring my first ascendancy Answered Call to grant Ancestral Spirits it should be summoning a minion when I summon a totem. Unfortunately, it doesn't. Not in any campaign area, not in my hideout, nowhere. I'm genuinely baffled as to why it's not working, and I've tried a few things to no avail; shutting down the game and reopening (multiple times), taking the shockwave totem out of the skill menu and inserting another copy, increasing the duration of the totem with skill gems, etc. I don't know if I'm somehow reading something wrong, but I think this is a genuine bug that makes it unplayable. Is anyone else having this problem?

Can confirm. This is happening to me too. Using Ancestral Warrior Totem with Sunder, no minions.

Yeah can confirm, does not work. Totem gets blue color but doesnt summon any minions.

We have a community of totem enjoyers, who struggle with leveling due to the bugged ansendancy node.
