Most normal builds got buffed actually.

For numbers I was expecting maybe 120k the first week and down to 30k by week 3. Patch notes made me lower my initial number by half.

As someone who exclusively played Witch hunter and used explosives until late endgame, this is the dumbest nerf I can think of. I switched to a flash grenade build for less cool down after using gas + oil + explosives for a while. The reason I switched was because of cooldown. Nothing on the Merc needed nerfing (not talking about gemling).

What's even more annoying is that longer cooldowns make an already clunky class even clunkier.

It seems like GGG nerfed everything based off any broken builds they could find online, which completely screwed 99% of everything else

To me it looks like they want every archetype to have a hotg-esque skill, and for xbows, that will be grenades. Flameblast seems to have been changed for the same purpose.

Yeah their vision doesn't involve fun

the grenade cooldown change will probably completely be offset by the crossbow damage numbers.

move this up, move that down. Make people think its a buff/nerf. in reality not much changed except longer cd feels clunky.
