POE 2: STUCK ON CHIMERA WETLANDS LOADING SCREEN

Also stuck on loading screen. Will not play the game ever until this is fixed. Goodluck

Creating a 2nd character to play couch co-op worked for me!! It forced my character to l jump to the Riverbank, which I had to quickly progress through. But then everything worked again. Hope this tip helps others.

None of the tricks worked for me.
Fortunately, It was fixed after the many patches in the last couple days.
It was funny too because I tried playing another character, and game stuck the other character in the middle of jungle vine bramble after transferring to a different checkpoint, and no way to move out of the vine bramble.
I was playing a ranger, and couldn't even do the old escape shot. I had to make a portal to leave the board.

Can confirm this bug exists as of 4/11.
My main(huntress) was stuck in Chimaeral Wastelands after dying. Stuck in a loading screen forever.

I have found a workaround for this bug that is quick and painless, but you must have 2 controllers. I am also on PS5 but this should work regardless.

Step 1) At the loading screen, select your main that is stuck, as Player 1. Have player 2 log in as a low level character.

Mine was level 5 and in Clearfell Encampment, and had not progressed past the Red Vale.
(this should force your main to clearfell, as your low level toon can't get past any waypoint or map they have NOT unlocked - this is important)

Log in with both characters (your stuck main and any low lvl toon) and portal to Clearfell Encampment.

Step 2) Exit to character selection

Step 3) Have player 2 leave, and log back in with your stuck main ONLY. This should log you back in to Clearfell Encampment. You will still be in a party with your other character. Do NOT leave this party. I repeat, do NOT leave the party.

Step 4) Waypoint travel to the specific area which you were stuck loading in to. This should be successful.

Step 5) Die. Then Resurrect at Checkpoint.

Step 6) Do a happy dance!! You are now unstuck(or should be) I immediately ported back. Logged out. Closed the app and re-logged to double check and my main is un-stuck and able to progress again.

i had the exact same issue. to resolve (at least for me) start a completely new character. then you can load back in to the other character and it should correct itself

PS5 stuck on Chimeral Wetlands loading screen for 4 days now. Tried everything I could think of besides deleting the game and reinstalling. Sucks cause I actually made it to maps but wanted to go back for trials and this happened. Please help!

EDIT: Eventually the Trails instance I was in reset and I spawned in town. Not sure the exact time but it was three hours between log in attempts.

I am also stuck on a loading screen. I am on XSX and am stuck infinitely loading into the Trial of Chaos. Took portal to town between rounds and then was put into an infinite load when trying to return. Closed the game after waiting a few minutes the first time and was put back to the loading screen after logging back in. Would like to actually play the game. Any help resolving this would be much appreciated.

It is definitely a zone issue. When I was progressing through Normal difficulty, I kept crashing in Chimera Wetlands.

Now that I'm on Cruel difficulty, same thing. Except this time, when I load it...crashes.

This bug BLOWS! 3 hours and the same dumb $#!%
