7 GOD DAMN people working on performance issues for POE 2, straight from their mouths on live stream

"
7! 7!!!!!! god damn souls working on game performance for the game, actually correction, they have 3 working on the crashes and they said they have not gotten to working our performances yet because they have 3 of that small team trying to figure out the crashes, so they haven't focused on fixing perfomance because of that. WHAT THE HELL!!!! I'm running a Ryzen 7 9800x3d, a rtx 4090, 64gbs of ram clocked at a proper stable 6000mhz. I run the game ALL on the lowest possible graphical settings, dlss at ultra performance and i go from 120fps if i do nothing, then I attack and it drops to 20fps. Don't give me that i have lower and it runs faster, probably since you are not running a build that casts allot spells.

GGG your game runs like hot ass. Get more than @J#$BJSD 7 people on that holy ****!

Funny I run it on Medium with some extras enabled with a Ryzen 5 and an NV3600 over 50 FPS all the time ) except the town that is a weird place)

So many "crashes" fixed by these hotfixes yet I haven't heard of anyone's issues actually being solved.

It isn't a Windows problem, per se, but my game actually ran great until the end of January when I upgraded from 10 to 11. Then it began stuttering and crashing if I didn't use PoEUncrasher.

They only made $30M from EA keys, right? No way they could hire more support or devs... I'd probably ask my "7" folks working on performance why nothing was actually getting done and then hire new folks to replace them after producing nothing for 3+ months.

Hiring a C++ dev and making it productive in your ongoing system is a 6-10 MONTHS task

Suuuuure. My

- AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D 8-Core/16-Thread 4nm 104MB Cache 120W ZEN 5 Processor
Socket AM5 5.2GHz boost, DDR5, PCIe 5.0 which I overclocked to a stable 5.6Ghz
- ASUS ROG STRIX X870E-E GAMING WIFI AMD AM5 X870 ATX motherboard
- G.SKILL Trident Z5 Neo RGB 64GB (2x32GB) DDR5 6000MHz CL30 Black 1.4V UDIMM
- ROG Matrix Platinum GeForce RTX 4090 24GB GDDR6X

is an OLD POS computer,
/facepalm

Every graphical setting to low, with dlss at ultra performance, running on a FRESH install of windows. Litteraly running the game at it's most ugliest and still drop to 20 fps is my problem? my supposedly SHIT computer(right!....) is the culprit.
GTFO

Like someone else mentionned some of us run different builds that do allot of stuff on screen. Even after them saying to not having done much on performance, and i'm not making this up, THEY SAID IT LIVE on the stream that they have not done much for performance. Yet people blindly defend them.
The friends that I have that play with me and have THE POS computers crash when they play with me because i am producing so much shit in the game.
Yet I am playing the game as it was ment to be.

They need to fix this. Because I AM NOT the only person having issues with this.

Could I see the msi afterburner stats?

i mean this sounds like a vsync issue.

make sure both your cards native vsync and game vsync arent both on. sometimes they fight

then try caping frame rate.

This is not a Windows issue. White knight fanboys sure love regurgitating that bit of info only because GGG said it.

The performance issues persist through SEVERAL windows OS versions and SEVERAL Linux distros, On both Nvidia and AMD graphics cards.

"ItS a WiNdOwS IsSuE, TrUsT uS GuYs"

Yea ok. Poor optimization is more like it.

GGG is being straight dishonest about performance.

??? No one said the performance issues are caused by the OS, not even GGG said that. Most of the crashed were caused by the Windows 11 November patch, it introduced severe bugs that affected both PoE1 and PoE2, this problem took all the attention from the programmers which prevented them to work on optimizations, that's what's going on.

Sounds like a you problem indeed. Game runs flawless at 4k max settings with my 7800X3D 4090 build.

The victim blaming getting out of control months after months
Now we're at the point 3000$ GPU is needed to play this F2P game lmao
The price of the GPU is not relevant when you're comparing the same or similar builds. I get it, reading comprehension is not everyone's forte.

If his 9800X3D 4090 build performs significantly worse than my 7800X3D 4090 build then, obviously, something is terrible wrong on his end. For comparison, my CPU is weaker but somehow I have absolutely no issues maxing the game out at 4k120hz.

I suspect user error or a terrible configured rig. Blaming GGG is easier though, am I right?
