This event was created so players cannot have a chance to win. You do realize that a mode catered towards those that sit in front of a screen for 20 hours practicing and no lifing are not the majority player base right?

This event was specifically made to spit in the face of everyone who bought the game early access in good faith. The first event should be something that includes everyone with something to show that they were there. What is the point in saying "if your good enough you can win" and then 1 guy gets 1st place twice and only streamers are placing in the top spots. If an event is dominated by just streamers, it is not an event for the players, it is a sham made for streamers to gloat and have an ego inflated by GGG.

The "who cares" argument is completely ridiculous when you realize people like to be respected when they do something out of good faith. If i do a good deed and someone spits in my face then its gloves off not a "thank you kindly good sir".

GGG is just proving they have no care for the 99.99% of their players with events like this. Now events like this are fine if there is a completion reward. Does not have to be fancy. It could quite literally be a profile badge commemorating the event to show you were there but no they are just greedy and lazy and disrepectful.
