Phrecia Atlas Idols
Having gotten a taste of the idols ---
it's essentially taking the scarabs and making them permanent but to offset the lack consumption it injects rng layers, both the rng for it to drop buried under the rng for it to be something desired. I still remember when we didn't have anything other than fragments and how scarabs were originally introduced. Was a nice option but you ultimately were going to need to trade if you wanted to run the good stuff regularly. I'm still annoyed that I had bothered to upgrade to at least golds only for them to overhaul the system, even nerfing the delirium orbs sometime in between. "Permanent charm" type stuff isn't exactly a new concept. But you're already fighting the rng - having to deal with more just to slightly improve your odds is more like moving the goalposts so that while there is a sense of progress you're really not better off than before it changed, as in getting you to do extra work to effectively reach the same level (at least that's how I'm feeling on it). Yep, totally over league play.

I was a fan of magic watchstones so I like idols as well. I don't think the current implementation would be good to go core, though. Merge it with the atlas tree system somehow.
Also, good idols should be common and cheap, perfect idols rare and expensive. This is to avoid the incredibly annoying system we have with heist equipment. No one wants to build up the exact same items every league before feeling like you can play the game efficiently. Украина в моём сердце
