Same here, I thought this was a PoE 2 issue (that also had btw) but I just started the event yesterday and first loading screen, boom, entire pc froze.
Well, I guess I have to use PoE Uncrasher once again, so far I've seen 2 freezes on this program that would've freeze my computer again.

Yes, it's safe to use, just launch the .exe and then launch the game.

Same happened just now to me.
I played in private league last 2 weeks and it was fine, here in Phrecia I had in in act 2.

Yes, it's safe to use, just launch the .exe and then launch the game.
Thanks, I run it as admin and will test it, maybe it will help to prevent freezes

Same here got the crash this morning. I was getting this in PoE2 like others have said as well. Although, admitidly I have not had it in PoE2 since they patch they did a few weeks back. Hopefully, PoE1 gets the same treatment.
