lonnie did a stream yesterday and its honestly like playing a slammer. You just have to get used to it.

Having a high hit rate though is not really what the effect is for. Youll want a slower attack speed, like a slammer, and then its up to you what hit mechanics you want from it.


For me I am a big fan of bleed so Ill probably just stick with that. If you want on hit though, just know multistrike works with it 100%. So you'll probably want to take advantage of that as well as impale probably.


With a very high attack speed you're better off doing something else, as youll attack so fast that it wouldnt be worth it to move enough to make the mechanic feasable, which is probably what happened to the detractors here.

Its a great mechanic, amazing for swarm mechanics especially ritual/Delve/Simu. It even uses your curses(mines on battle mages cry).

Just have to get used to it, before calling it shit is all. You cant play conventional attack speed brain off with it.

Attack speed youll want is probably somewhere in the 1.3-1.8ish aps range im thinking.


Also the strike range from the ascendancy will make it A LOT easier to use, having attack strike range really makes this thing easier

defiance of destiny effect, 3 endu charge and double damage from this looks very solid anyway.

Can honestly tell with catarina it was MUCH MUCH slower without warriors legacy.

ya if youre attacking slow with a strike you just better scale the hit damage a lot. I've never tried to play a strike like that so im no use. im a rage/attack speed addict.

did some more testing and i dont get the full double damage from the ring with flicker. i had sth like 40% more damage wich if you factor in the less attack speed would mean 75% more damage. no idea why but it is what it is.

edit : could be the ignite that modifies the calculation (oro sacrifice)
edit : redid it with terminus est without bleed and same shit 75%-80% more damage but not 100
