" how can arcane cloak be a problem if the mental conditioning keystone also includes power of purpose (80% of max mana is converted to twice that much armor)? i take this as GGG misjudge how much of a penalty "your spells are disabled" truly is. overall the rest of the keystones are good but not good enough to justify that penalty. With some luck and enough angry posts GGG will realise this and replace that penalty with something less ridiculous like reduced mana reservation efficiency. self found league fan

You're right i didnt even notice the converted line. that is basically that timeless jewel that is worthless for bottom left builds. makes sense it would be on a marauder

" Ya even if it lasted 2x a long as it does it wouldnt matter. you still have to hit 1k times to get max stacks. You dont see people jumping for joy for the gladiator node that makes monsters take more damage. rampage is actually just a worse version of that. If youre hitting 25x a second to get max stacks between phases you dont need 100% inc damage to kill a boss. 100% inc damage vs doing 100% more damage to bosses is hilariously bad. These ascendancy points point for point are so much weaker than berserker its a joke. You take that context and think hmm how broken was berserker in 3.25. oh 1% playrate in sc trade. Then look at what people are playing with it you ask? 69% use autoexert. thats funny, cause you cant use that with behemoth. Remove autoexert, and you have 259 characters. Turn off precision, cause you know, who needs accuracy right? 79 characters. turn off molten shell, who needs to live amirite? 32 characters left. turn off blood rage, because frenzy charges are trash on an attack build right? 18 characters left. interesting there is almost a half decent berserker build in there. albeit using auras and a dash skill so lets put him in pob name is slapfightgrug: pretty basic gear 4.28m dps with berserker 41k ehp 13k phys hit 47.6k fire/light 41k cold 20.5k chaos stick behemoth in: rampager, dire rampart, tireless frenzy and sheer fury. 856k dps 22.6k ehp 9.2k phys hit, 26k fire/light 22.8k cold 11k chaos. sure, perhaps this ascendancy may have other ways to force optimization in a different niche than just a regular warcry vf of snaking build. I would even argue this ascendancy is better for strikes than slams because of the attack speed modifiers. so i took the liberty of looking at this squire lightning strike guy too. BonkYong: Mageblood, squire, nimis, yoke, progenesis. absolutely ridiculous gear this thing is kind of a nightmare to config since its not my char and i dont care to read every item so config being apples to apples is the important thing here. 13.8m dps 36k ehp 11.7k phys hit 37.5k fire, 30k cold/light 15.7k chaos with berserker ascendancy with behemoth. same ascendancy points as before. didnt have fortify before, and with behemoth it has fortify. 5.6m(6.8m with rampage at 1k) dps 50k ehp, 14.3k phys hit 47k ele hit, 24.6 chaos hit. if you tick fortify on the previous pob you basically gain the entire behemoth gains. it lost 40% of the dps and added 39% ehp (the added ehp was just from gaining fortify and losing aspect of carnage). So effectively on this setup that has absolutely ridiculous gear for 99.9999% of people basically traded 40% of their damage for 40% tank on a character that is a glass cannon to begin with. sso gaining 40% defense on 36k ehp is pretty bad. There may be ways to make it work. but given berserker was underplayed while a lot stronger. i doubt anyone wastes their time on it. At this point im just whining like a little girl but im just over it man |

from my testing, flicker strike would get double damage from the node without moving or anything. just flicker on boss. i got double ignite counter with the oro sacrifice and the support with ignite counter.

for flicker it depends on boss's size or rather - how far apart are the jumps you do. if they are close together (small boss like shaper) you might not proc it
for larger bosses - yes, it seems to work 'most of the time'. but it wont if the boss hugs a wall, has adds (some of extra hits will connect with adds) or moves (high chance of hits hitting nothing) or you are just unlucky and your flicks were close together still, it might be an option but with very, very limited application - clearing with it might break you the flicker path, wasnt a fan of using it for clear for 1/4th of an ascendancy? lots of 'buts' to consider |
