Why would anyone play legacy of phrecia for longer than lvl 80?
" And I like the game to actually throw challenges at me. PoE 1 is pretty easy these days, with power creep upon power creep. They had to ease up on the amount of power creep going core, or else the game would be a joke. Making the player power unique for each league, makes each league feel unique. It's hard to be invested in something that even the developers aren't invested in. Sometimes, just sometimes, you should really consider adapting to the world, instead of demanding that the world adapts to you.

" that can be true for veteran players like yourself. but for weaker players, most of them have to follow build guides to even get to endgame. i've never recommended poe1 to any friends for a long time unless theyre fine following a build guide. on poe2 forums its quite common the ones who say the game is too easy and wants more challenges are the very same people who use buildguides or overperforming skills. the gap between players simply grows far and wide and the more you ask for ggg to make poe1 harder, it simply makes less newbies want to play. i m so glad the upcoming temp league's unlocks are all at level 80. dont need to put too much effort [Removed by Support]

" I played PoE casually for years and didn't beat an uber boss until 2023, I think. The difference between us, I think, is that I'm perfectly fine with not being able to do "everything" in a game (certainly in a league, we have standard for that); why should I, I'm only a casual? There should be content for all players, and the only way to make that possible, is to make some content aimed at dedicated players. But some casual players can't handle that. That said, I've never asked for PoE to be/get harder. I think it's in a fairly good place now. But if they threw (vanilla) Harvest crafting on Runeenchants on Wildwood ascendancies on Gravecrafting on Wildwood juicing on Ancestor tattoos on Scourge weapon leveling, there wouldn't be much game left. So making power creep temporary is absolutely the right move. Sometimes, just sometimes, you should really consider adapting to the world, instead of demanding that the world adapts to you.
