Why would anyone play legacy of phrecia for longer than lvl 80?
" There's people who would have fun if you give them archnemesis 5 times and they will keep on buying supporter pachs because they are masochists, seems familiar doesnt it? |

The atlas relics are going to be fun if they're as crazy as they could be. I want to maximize my fun with a million shrine buffs if you can stack a bunch of shrine duration relics. If there's a good way to get a bunch of big buffed rogue exiles I think that will break the economy and shorten the league for economy enjoyers.
If shrine duration stacking is a thing I'm going to play Daughter of Oshabi from start to finish. If the relic mods are all garbage somehow I would like to try out Smite of Divine Judgment Ancestral Commander and I probably won't play much. |

" So? Is it so damn hard for some people to believe that some people actually like PoE, like to play it and find it fun? Some people play standard for years. Some people play every other league. Some people play one league a year. Who are we to say that their fun is less valid than ours? To me, it's all about the journey. A fresh wipe and a fresh economy with lots of active players give me a fresh journey. Sure, cool content helps, but isn't really necessary every time, especially with the content drought we've experienced lately. Sometimes, just sometimes, you should really consider adapting to the world, instead of demanding that the world adapts to you. Last edited by Phrazz#3529 on Feb 14, 2025, 11:48:57 AM

I didn't get to play Settlers on launch.
Now I get to play the mechanic with what looks like extremely fun alt ascendancies. And once I'm done with the weird shit I can migrate everything to Settlers and have fun there. What's not to like? Love the games. PoE1 way more so than PoE2, but still enjoying both.
Hate the company. The scummy, lying, fake and shitty facade, the excuses, the failures, and most of all, the "Vision". Keep both of those in mind when reading my posts. |

I'll play it to beyond 80 if it's fun.
If idols drop a plenty and they drop unidentified, I won't be playing past 80. |

I wish it wasn't Settler's too. It's the least ARPG mechanic they've ever made. But I totally understand why they kept it. They could hardly have given us this cut down league if they also had to allow for the development time necessary to swap out league mechanics.
So bummer, but all good. |

" I feel settlers is just another league mechanic that gone core, same as Harbingers, Ritual, Heist, Delve or any other - it's optional if you want to do it or not. The real meat of this event is 19 new ascendancies and different way of handling end game. This is enough to keep me hooked for at least couple of months, since there are a lot of fun ideas for builds. I just hope this event stays for 3months |

" if i m being honest, i HATED affliction league mechanic. running around in the darkness is no fun, and back then i was a waaaay weaker player. it put me in a bad spot where i had to run circular maps like mesa where i would clear the map and do the affliction last to avoid encountering a mob that would be mega juiced. but on the flipside, i m of the opinion that player power creep is good. i was primarily a std player who only dipped my toes into temp leagues either if it could enrich my std stuff OR for some fancy mtx. farming everything all over again was a huge chore. power creep helps get my character up and running faster and it even keeps me around in the league longer (since i m already there). also i would also add. standard exists. if i've got what i came for in a temp league and i felt i was too weak (not having enough fun) i would just quit the league to play std. " I also hated the Affliction mechanics, and ended up ignoring the mechanic after a while. With Fracturing Orbs being 40 div, I just farmed Harbingers instead. Sure, not as lucrative as affliction buffed maps, but a lot more fun for me. PoE relies on power creep. It is what keeps players coming back every league. But power creep can't always be added to the core game because we end up being way too strong. So I like their approach the last leagues, where they give us a lot of power creep, but removes it at the end. It is a healthy approach for the longevity of the game. I like temporary power creep. I like to reach new (and different) levels of power each league. But I don't like the game to be a joke, so I also like when they take the power creep away from us in the end of the league. Sometimes, just sometimes, you should really consider adapting to the world, instead of demanding that the world adapts to you.

" fair enough, i do agree with you mostly just i prefer more permanent player powercreep. but that said i m no longer too invested in poe1 so its no longer a big concern to me. just voicing out my opinion on the matter [Removed by Support]
