to be fair poe1 isn't a "finished product" either even after 15 years, see the amount of useless/underpowered but also overpowered skills for example but also alot of other things

also poe1 started as indie game with very limited resources, that's different for poe2 which is in development for more than 6 years by now

It has. It's new, it's fresh, it has an improved look and updated graphics. It also gives a better new player experience than PoE 1.

For me, I just didn't enjoy the vast majority of what POE2 had to offer and most of that is because it just hasn't had the development time. However, there are some core and fundamental changes that I just don't agree with.

I will say I am disappointed that they are sinking all their available resources into POE2.

To me, that's basically giving up on POE1 to try and salvage POE2.

IMO, it's quite possible, you may end up with 2 dead games.

In the end, I booted up POE 1 for the first time since DEC yesterday and man, it was like a breath of fresh air.

As a final note: I do believe that if they have to do a prolonged break from content, they are leaving POE 1 in a good place. IMO, Settlers is their best expansion in a very long time and I've enjoyed it immensely.

It's funny that you should say that - in a particular Facebook group that I stumbled across, the number of those said blurry pictures is astronomical! I kid you not.

If you gave me 200k USD for a car and I had to choose between a Tesla that looks nice on the outside but has shit interior vs a Civic with a tuned V8 engine that runs smooth like butter with posh interior, guess what, I'm juicing that Civic.

It's just better.

the funny thing is there's already a version of poe1 with the no-frills tedious version of endgame/crafting that no one plays. But we're supposed to think it's a good thing in poe2? Lol.
