Well you pay 30 extra just to play 1 week earlier on top of what 80ish Dollar, so there is a big difference. Poe2 you get 200+hours for just 30$ and you can come back for free any time, no dlc which will cost 40-60...Civ is the ultimate rip off nowadays you cannot sugar coat how greedy they are.

btw op 24 hour peak was 163k

I actually thought that they would build on the things they had already learned in POE 1 and expand them into a coherent overall concept.

After almost 400 hours and 3 characters, it becomes increasingly difficult to find any motivation to continue playing.
Just grinding and gambling ... not exactly what I imagine as evening entertainment.

Why do you think people need to play a game nonstop? I'm waiting for huntress and other updates to flesh out endgame. Game is BRIMMING with potential.

How's poe1's player count doing by the way? Must be far above 100k? I will never return to it and likely most people won't.

Same. I played PoE for a while but then completely stopped because I was so fed up with it and its shortcomings.
PoE 2 was a bit of a restart and it makes a couple of things better, but I also had hoped it would make much more things better. What I'm most disappointed about is how GGG handles the "early access" aspect, because to me it seems just like a regular PoE 1 league. There's hardly any communication or feedback where you have no idea wtf they are even doing and there's a very long time between meaningful updates.

I dont think repackaging poe1 as an alleged "new" game while dumpstering poe1 was a great strategy. Kind of a giant middle finger to the loyal fanbase.

I can at least relate with this, but all others are just-bwahhaha

I know of 100 + people that quit all about the same time. we quit 100% because of the bot's. what is the point of working hard to clear things when the bots farmers are out there with 20 plus clients farming EX's and DIV's all day and night. What even better is when u post on the forums and ask GGG for help and give them the names and what program's and the website of the program you get punished from GGG.

I personal feel like we got bait and switched on. there is no way that GGG can be this fucking stupid. your other game POE1 is botted so heavy that people have gone solo self found because of this shit. You take 0 action against the bots farmers. you where give 10 players that I sent you screen shots of them telling me what program they are using and what happens nothing. emailed it to you. reported it to you in game post on the fucking forums. you don't replay to shit but "VASH" can take action on a person trying to help do your fucking job.

We all paid for this game and the reason you all have jobs. 100 players x 29.99 paid is what 2999 in your pocket. not even the extra stuff we paid for stash tabs guild stuff and more.
