Legit PoE2 Feedback
I hope it's okay I bump this once or twice after a day or so. I'd really like some more input from other experienced players.
I think this boss-focus philosophy in mapping idea also solves the problem of making poe1 different from poe2. They both have epic boss fights sure, but the "fight" part of that is exemplified further in poe2 than in 1 (I would argue "fighting" bosses in poe2 is far more satisfying than poe1 fights in 9/10 cases). Poe1 just has more cook time, plus being a finished story so I can see arguments for the "epic" part being better in poe1 still. Maven fights for example still feel quite epic in poe1 compared to the Arbiter who's more akin to Sirius in its fight-aesthetic. What I mean to say here is that poe2 can get to that level of "epic" as well with some time, but they already have better foundation for making the "fight" part vastly superior to poe1 (in my opinion). Maybe I'm wrong about my understanding of PoE1 and 2. I technically haven't killed Arbiter T4 yet, nor have I yet to solo kill Uber Boober Shaper in poe1. However I've got countless hours already in both games and I feel confident enough in my ability and assessment. Last edited by HashBob#0163 on Feb 1, 2025, 9:39:47 AM

No need to buff on well. There is enough in mods to make the flasks and charms solid as is.
I would love more bosses with more mechanics on them and have 30% more of them available in the endgame. The 0.1.1 boost has more, but I still don't see them nearly as often as I think I should. Crafting is incomplete in 0.1.1. So this shouldn't be a contention yet. I don't want reroll currency. I think omens should be common loot pool. Put a tattoo system into rituals. They should have an in game trade site browser. It is pretty hard to do with the volume of items on poe's trade site. So I understand the technical reason it isn't there. It would be a godsend if it was or we had something like the exchange for it. EA will have balance, however I agree it is not for now. We need all skills and classes in, to me, before balancing would be manageable and proper. I know why the community wants it. Like GGG said, they knew things would be busted, but they did not expect it to be this many options to get busted. Respeccing will come. It is really odd they say there is a reason not to, but never state the exact reason. Because it probably is just friction difficulty. There is plenty of that with ascendency respec. Waystone tab is about coding, not UI. It has to properly understand what goes where and potentially have room for more. |

" Hey thanks for your reply! To be honest I forgot about ritual crafting since like you said, omens are so rare, but also my build gets destroyed in ritual so I usually avoid it (galv shards WH). I'm pretty on board with what you've said here. I would like to see well get a slight buff to using it because as it is I never interact with it at all. It hardly gets used in the campaign either unless your build is really behind the difficulty curve it's in. They mentioned in interviews they really want to keep the well and I'm all for supporting them to do that, but unless it gets some sort of QoL enhancement it will forever remain an aesthetic decoration at best for me. Any small boon would improve it by miles, something like 10% increased maximum charges for 2 minutes even would get me to click on it once in a while at least.
