GGG was 100% right to stop pouring money into it POE 1 and focussing on POE 2

Friends are silver, old friends are gold. Or whatever that saying was.

Remember how great Blizzard was? Their fanbase were rabid PC players who bought literally anything that Blizzard made. Then they announced Diablo: Immortal and asked "don't y'all have phones?"

Companies who abandoned the customer who they served for decades end up getting abandoned themselves. GGG wanted to make something that the majority of their supporters did not want. That would have been fine if it was made clear the new thing was an entirely new IP completely detached from what their customers came to love. But instead they touted it as a sequel.

The only solutions I see require way too much time and work for them to put their pride aside and just do. And the longer they ignore it the worse it gets.
I think the OP is at least partially a troll, however I also think GGG would agree with the OP, don't you based on things so far? What do you think?
Console loot filter for POE2 Please!

Indeed, the only quality part of Blizzard left is their Customer Service with ticketing system. Blizzard Customer Service helped me change my account's lost email, even tho they knew i needed that to be able email them with request to delete my account and to be able to confirm that request.

Props to people working at Blizzard's Customer Service, you are amazing and hope i will meet you again in different business, much love!

Also worth noting - a massive part of POE 2 players are people who never even played POE 1. They are also the future of GGG and a reasonable company that wants to expand should look into the future, not into the past to please a few people who got stuck in there.

Pretty much.

With the internet era of competitive gaming dried out for a number of years now since the "golden era" of say 2008-2018 for many veterans (LoL, CoD, Rocket League and the MMORPG market etc) I'd say a massive portion are looking toward some quality solo with a hint of competitiveness from something like PoE2 and what I mean by quality is actual mechanics, as apposed to the week I tried of PoE1 and its just basically follow a guide and prioritize 1/2 skills which you use against very bland enemy mechanics.

I've sank 550 hours in PoE2 and its largely an engaging experience and for those who don't think its rewarding enough for their time well all I can say is you've never played anything really tough in your life, try Ultima Online!

POE2 isn't rewarding enough for the time invested. POE2 isn't rewarding enough for the current day.
I played 5 years of Everquest after it released. Very few liked the soul crushing difficulty. We put up with with it because we didn't have a choice. Nobody liked corpse retrieval. Nobody liked losing exp on death. Nobody liked all the time wasters. We just didn't know better at the time. We didn't have World of Warcraft yet to banish that BS to the nether realms. We didn't have a choice.

Today devs don't have an excuse. There's almost 30 years of experience since Diablo released. There's over 26 years of experience to learn from since UO released.

The quickest way to tank a game that is supposed to be for everyone is to try to try cater it to a very small niche group that was quickly abandoned back in the day. People stopped playing D2, only a fragment of devoted fans remain. Think about how many people tried D2R and then gave up. That difficulty wasn't for them.

POE2 is trying to cater to a lot of groups, POE1 fans, POE2 .1 fans, POE2 .2 fans, Dark Souls Fans, casuals.

Sooo....that's 5 groups that the game is trying to capture, but the difficulty and old schoolness is going to turn off a lot of those groups. Only 5 to 10 percent of the original audience even play anymore. That's not good.
