What's antagonizing ? I said to someone he doesn't understand how to play, what to pick up, and how to craft ; in this game ; and he replies to me he doesn't plan his playthrough, map modifiers, according to his build, gear and skill ; that he doesn't pick up bases for his character to craft upon, and that he can't make any effort building his own character because online builds already exist. That's just telling me he doesn't get it and isn't even willing to learn and experiment by himself, for himself, with what the game has to offer. So no, saying he doesn't get it isn't antagonizing, it's just true. A game is meant to be played. If you aren't even playing it, why do you complain about what it is ? I enjoy leveling character and spending points in the passive tree. Also skill gem level ups are actually decent upgrades considering it increases base damage that is multiplied by other damage modifiers. But I still prefer experience based gem leveling in poe 1 for many reasons. However, I definitelly agree that the game is not rewarding enough and everything being slot machine based takes away a lot fun and also direction. The biggest flaw a crafting system in any game could have is to force player out of the gameplay flow and have them waste time in the UI. POE 2 excels in that and on top of that rewards players with the disappointment for extra effort more often than not. I am a casual player that could spend a few hundred hours because of the holidays. For me, and I think for a lot of other players, the loot/"crafting" system of this game is terrible and makes the game frustrating to play. Only no-lifers can spend the time needed to obtain the stuff through playing or trading to get what is needed. I have a life and the small amount of time I have for playing games are not going to be spend on POE2 anymore unless something fundamental is going to change in the future. We'll see. It shouldn't take a PhD and 10 years of playing Poe 1 to "get it". You keep acting like these players are asking for free divs & mirrors to be handed to them just for finishing the acts. Stop trolling. You'll see when the devs get around to releasing a big content patch that the game is now no longer for you. And I sincerely hope you take your own advice and go play other games.
