I do understand you guys and that you did not decide that out of spite. And i know you do not desert PoE 1 and that PoE 2 needs the attention right now.
It is a no brainer that PoE2 takes lead in your development priority, it is the future and it has way more players. So it is the obvious choice, both from the "what game needs the attention more" side and the bussinessside. Thanks for letting us know, even tho allot of players might get upset with the news. i rather have you inform us on "bad" things than other companies that won't tell us for months. I sure woulnd't mind a endless delve league tho :) |

ofc its not cool how things went down, but he admitted his fault and said sorry and explained that they have to learn how to run 2 games, which makes sense. ggg always delivered and i am sure they will this time aswell. they just need more time, everybody needs to chill out. |

Maybe just close PoE 1 and focus on PoE 2. Its time to move on

When you shoot yourself in the foot, you have to manage to hit it in the head. People bought support packs with the false belief that the development of the second part would not affect the first.

There's nothing surprising here and it was to be expected. POE2 needs much more work right now. After the initial excitement we quickly realized that the fun isn't really there yet and a lot of corners were cut to get the game out quickly. GGG still is a rather small company, at a size where hard decisions have to be made. Getting POE2 into a state where playing can be more immersive and enjoyable for a longer period of time is the top priority now.
POE1 is perfectly playable and in a really good league at the moment. If people want to play POE1, they should just do it instead of whining. |
