POE 1 is great game, but now we need poe 2 to be finished. Hope u made it, dont listen to crying kids ty
I am very sad and very much disappointed now. POE2 issn't nearly as good as POE1 is. And you broke the most essential promises for me that POE1 will not be affected by POE2. I will suspend my support. For the last 10 years I only played the one single best game of all times made by GGG and I believed it would be played forever. No wonder the man who said that issn't longer in charge of this miserable way you guys are taking down the road.
Jonathan,

I appreciate the video and the honesty. But I do not appreciate the excuses about time and resource restrictions.

I have no clue how your customer service support will handle two games given the overwhelming amount of tickets that were caused by PoE2 without massively expanding the company. It is not enough to hire customer service people but you also need much more developers and you are screwing yourself out of good talent with your strict policies on developer employment. There are enough developers out there good enough to work remotely for you which would have avoided all these problems and I am sure after a month would have been able to already support enough to free up experienced developers to work on both games.

This video is weeks late, you knew about this situation a lot earlier and only the pressure applied by players through public venues forced this apology. It is honorable to take accountability in hind sight, but players deserved an answer in early January to manage expectations.

I highly doubt this is a money or time problem. It is a lack of company expansion far sight. Just given the success of the PoE2 launch there should be enough capital to bring in more people. Maybe Tencent is blocking it, who knows. But in the end this is not a time problem, this is an infrastructure problem at the company where all senior executives massively underestimated the personnel needs.

Overall, you had well-deserved success with Poe2 but it now requires PoE1 players and also your staff to sacrifice because you did not hire enough people. It is not right. Not to the players, and not to your teams.
Wow, a lot of entitlement going on here. I'm having a blast with PoE2 and this news certainly won't stop me. I think we could all stand to show a little more gratitude in our attitudes, if ya know what I mean. Thanks for everything GGG!
Goodbye Poe 1, I have no intention of playing poe 2.

leave.
until it comes back.
This is so sad really.

Not mad at Jonathan or Chris Wilson at all.

I fear they are being pushed into this mess by the greedy "higher ups".

I love POE 1 so much that this is depressing.

Smart move should have been a filler league with this announcement.

Oh well...
Hard L 100% Hard L, we lose the best arpg for an useless version that makes 0 fun
Honestly, PoE 2 is a bit of a slog.

And it seems like you're forsaking the best game to focus all your resources on the worst and shallow ones.
Understandable, thanks for letting us know.
