A Message to Path of Exile 1 Players

I'm disappointed but I still love this game and have much respect for GGG. With time I'm sure they will get things together and release a great new league for us.

Very sad news indeed. I liked my time in the PoE2 beta, but at the same time it also reinvigorated my love and thirst for PoE1 at the end. Re-logging my Kalguur character after playing PoE2 for a while... holy heck does PoE1 feels GOOOOD!

I understand your situation, as a software developer, and I sympathise with you guys and really appreciate the transparency, but this is still pretty sad news :(

Just let me bring my Settlers characters/stash to standard, for the love of god...
PoE2 will never be a game for me, I just want to play PoE1, extremely disappointing announcement, if not unexpected.

Any further support dollars from me will be delayed until some time after 3.26, unfortunately I dont have an exact date how long after this will be, I too hope to do better, someday, but not today.

I cannot understand the people people being so dissapointed, having too high expectations. No company could deliver on this. Certainly not with the same amount of quality, without losing out on other aspects.

I think people need to take a breather and take things as they come. When 3.26 gets released we know all these comments about quitting are full of it and they're coming right back on their pc like curious kids with a new gaming console.

I'm so disappointed with this news. I for one I haven't enjoyed PoE2 so far. I'm glad others do enjoy PoE2 as it has been something the developers have been working extremely hard on for a long time already, but personal preferences are what they are and something just feels off for me in PoE2, which I didn't experience when playing at either of the exilecons.

The one thing that bugs me most is PoE2 is Early Access does it really matter that much if it suffers delays? It is probably selfish of me to say it but PoE1 should not have been tossed to the side the way it has been for this long, not just with the current league but the last at least two years of delayed league releases, the leagues for the most part have been great but the move from 3 month leagues has been disappointing.

I think I'm done supporting this game with supporter packs, at least for a good while (PoE2 will need some significant changes to get me willing to buy supporter packs or PoE1 will need some real long term love). Currently it feels that it is evident that the game they now care more about and dedicate resources to is not the game I enjoy but its sequel that as stated I haven't enjoyed playing. I hope all the PoE2 players support the game to keep it going, having met the developers at both exilecons I know how passionate they are and wish them longevity in their endeavors.

Ok Poe 2 was fun, but even 0.1 update didint bring me back. I dont care about poe 2 at this point, why we cant have poe 1 new league or even old league like affliction meanwhile? You can work on poe 2 as long as you want after the poe 1 league release. We need something fun and something fun is poe 1 at this point, you set your priorities wrong GGG
