A Message to Path of Exile 1 Players

This was very obviously going to happen and all your customers called it in advance.

How can you ever say "I should have known taking devs off PoE1 would hurt PoE1"? It's like saying "I should have known water would be wet when I dropped my phone in it on purpose."

Shouldn't you resign at that point if you can't predict the most basic of consequences for your decisions?

I could go on some long winded screed, but why bother yelling at clouds?

I'm disapointed, and as a long time supporter GGG has burned a lot of previously banked good will with this move.

and their "transparency" its not a kind e of wild card for all the fuck ups they made this kind of BS of excuse on video its beyond that and deserve the backslash , since they spit in the face of the playerbase of the game what make them big that it's a lot disrespectful from them for say something

Maintenance mode is maintenance mode.

I returned to this game to see it in a far worse state it was back at the end of the "engine updated patch" in crucible now with a terrible side game that is far far worse than it's predecesor. I would never touch "poe2" as long it's in this state.

Poe1 is just so much better in the end.

7-9 months league? what can you even say about almost half a year without new content in your game that put you where you are at right now.. and you used to make fun of blizzard.. how the tables have turned.

so bad...give us some events at least. many people dont like poe2. give us something thats simple to set up like some past league events

I don't understand why PoE2 isn't being treated like the alpha it is, why is there such a huge urgency to rush updates outs, I get there is bugs but its not a league, the game isn't even officially released, why is it such a bad idea to put poe2 on the backburner with small patching and push out a poe1 league and not make players wait a year for a new league?

Either kill POE 1 or give it the respect it deserves.

Because we all know it's bullshit. They could easily give us races or events or a Legacy League 2.0 (they've mentioned in the past just how easy it is to set up leagues like that) but they are choosing to give us nothing for PoE1 while also not fixing any of the major glaring issues with PoE2. I know a lot of arpg newbies are having a blast working through the PoE2 campaign for over 100 hours because they don't know what they're doing, but people who've played a lot of arpgs can easily see that PoE2s endgame (and even its most basic backbone systems) are just not going to be good for the longterm health of the game.

It's weird but it feels like the spell this game has had on me for over a decade has been broken. It's finally time to move on. Best of luck, GGG.

Took way too long for you guys to basically admit you lied to your most devoted fans. Consider whatever goodwill was left to be gone now. Hope it was worth it. Doubt it will be.
