Trust me I HAVE played the game. I'd take any, literally ANY, reason to play the game rn. Be it a rehashed old league, some kind of lazy half assed event, ANYTHING. And yet the devs still don't deem it necessary or reasonable to put out some kind of economy reset.

The biggest shame is, PoE2 is PoE1's best tutorial to date. If you made it to maps in PoE2 you would most certainly enjoy playing PoE1, so it'd even be good for the newer players to give it a shot and accomplish the original goal of having people ping-pong between both games.

It's amazing to me all these doom saying people with the transparency. You can't get that from any company.

Regards to PoE2 pulling resources from PoE1, that is fine. And sure PoE2 has more to iron out. Anyone who was here from the beginning on PoE1 when this game was just 3 acts get it. When PoE2 gets flushed out it'll be just as good if not better then PoE1 in a different way. If it takes a few more months for PoE1 to get it's league thats fine, as long as its not another necropolis league :D. That was rough. All in all, im loyal and die hard to the end for PoE in general. I still prefer PoE1 over PoE2 right now, but thats because PoE2 isn't flushed out nor complete and has some rough spots that I would like to see fixed. And Diablo 4 wont ever be touched by me no matter what they do with Rod at the helm and his narcissistic behavior. Still havent purchased the expansion and I never will. And Last Epoch is the only other game I have partial interest in but still not as high as PoE.

Lets be real, most of us aint going anywhere, just alot of people have no patience for excuses. It's almost like they never worked a job with deadlines and expectations before. I work for an MSP and we have server projects and everything that gets delayed because we run into unforeseen situations. And it's not because we didn't plan properly either, situations come up.

Anyway, I think its a good call to get PoE2 in a much more stable state with your top talent and get that out the door so both games can breathe and live. Do what you gotta do.

Keep it going, we all will be here, including those who claim "disappointment".

so you abandon the game i love and paid for, for a game i don't enjoy or care. great job. i mean, why give your long term fans what they want?

i do not mind that you want to develop a game that is more in line with your personal vision of how an ARPG should be. But the negative impact on PoE really makes me wish PoE2 was never a thing.
