Really disingenious to compare these players numbers as well -> PoE1: League going on for 7months, no chinese players. PoE2 "new" game, including chinese players, 7 weeks after launch. Its amazing how much you need to lie to try to make a point. Ignoring the loyal fanbase who supported them for over a decade is gonna bite them. Not very reassuring to say the least. Just a lot of excuses and double talk, kind of like a gaming politician. They should have just held the release of POE 2 until spring of 2025 but they had to rush and get it out there. People are complaining like they were for several years when PoE1 had its difficult birth. But then it turned out GGG knows what they are doing and people were like "OMG PoE BEST GAME EVER". It is the same story now. "You make zero mistakes only when you do nothing". GGG knows what they are doing (or at least what to do to follow their plans - if I will like it, that's another story ;p), they seem to be doing the right thing to correct mistakes (hey, they have 2 games to support now and that's a lot of work), and in a year or two people will be like "OMG PoE1/2 BEST GAMES EVER" again. Keep up the good work, a lot of respect for you for direct and honest communication. I will for sure spend some money on PoE1/2 in the future, just to show my appreciation.
