A Message to Path of Exile 1 Players

Well, it is as feared. A half finished product now gets all the resources and money (that poe1 made them) thrown at it, while the clearly superior game (for years at least) gets shafted.

So many contradictions, what you promise us. So sad, that the best ARPG what i have ever played is done.

jesus christ... poe 2 sux... cant u fckin create some special events or at least one of the older league in poe 1? do this shit one or two month more and this game gonna be dead. Poe2 ruined everything, and its a fact.

Who would have thought huh?

I am very disappointed how this debacle played out and how there was no sooner communication about what to expect for PoE 1. It did erode a lot of the trust that I had build up for GGG since closed beta.

PoE 2 being the main focus during its launch is totally understandable. But not even getting a reheated, low effort league or some sort of event in the meantime is wild to me.

This all leaves me wondering if GGG will keep its promise of committing as much ressources to PoE 1 for future leagues as it did in the past. It seems very uncertain to me after this debacle and after seeing how many new players PoE 2 brings in.

However I still hope that this was just a temporary road bump and that we will get to see the old quality and cadence of PoE 1 content that we used to get for years now and that has made GGG to what it is today.

GGG just made its own Diablo Immortal moment.

We've lost faith. PoE2 is the next product of what was once a company we supported.

All in a single video. One involved phones, the other Jonathan Rogers.

Not a surprise to me.
And I think it's wise to focus on PoE2.
