A Message to Path of Exile 1 Players

poe2 isn't ready it's a Ea Demo at this point. The end game content isn't there to keep the veteran playerbase.


also the portals and maps thing is just like oh okay. I can live without movement skills but seriously something needs to change because the end game is dead.


Also I'll say I am really sad that poe 1 isn't getting an expansion yet, I feel betrayed.

0.2.0 patch when?
Crafting added to the game when?
Balance fixed when?

Everything is not ok, lets cry!

PoE2 Acceptance Phases:

stage 1. Denial.
GGG just left for the holidays, come back and start working.

stage 2. Anger.
You don't understand anything! This is Early Access only, it's not a full game yet.

stage 3. Auction.
We just have to wait for the announcement, we'll wait and GGG will start doing something!

stage 4. Depression.

stage 5. Acceptance.

I've been playing since December 2012, and I love PoE. But yes, it's time to move on. I'm very interested in the story and seeing why the World is now destroyed and the "beast" seems to be scattered all over. I'm also far more comfortable playing with WSAD then point and click.

Also, PoE 2 news should be posted on the PoE 2 website.
I dislike that PoE 1's website has been overtaken by PoE 2 news.

I've been playing PoE 1 since closed beta,
it feels like PoE 2 is taking over and wiping out PoE 1.

PoE 1 is why I'm here, It's why I spend money on PoE.

YOU took the people who made your game great for the last decade and tossed them in the garbage for something that is nowhere near finished. Weve been your beta testers for a very long time now and i think alot of us are fed up with the horseshit.

If there's one thing that GGG has truly become like Blizzard, it's how the forums are brimming with egotistical maniacs who believe they speak for every PoE1 player, and feel BETRAYED by the absence of the new league. Not to mention they conveniently "forget" that PoE1 is entirely playable, with servers up and running, a bustling economy, all that jazz.

Reading through the tears and gnashing of teeth, you'd think PoE1 was shut down and your cosmetics were burned in a digital dump fire.

Are you guys truly unable to express your discontent without resorting to such grandiloquent displays of frustration?

First of all, I have been playing Poe1 for years with over 13157 hours of active play time and Poe2 with ``only`` 525 active play time.

You have chosen Poe2 and are letting Poe1 bleed out without expansions and manpower, the future is a temporary end.
Instead of taking care of Poe1 first, and not just for the gaming community and fans, which is what made you big, you have put everything into Poe2. Although it has EA status, classes are completely missing, stability and bug problems. This is ABSOLUTELY OK for an EA status game, I have fun and I enjoy Poe2, don't get me wrong.
But to neglect the basic pillar, Poe1 like this, and to disappoint the loyal fans and gaming community of Poe1 who played for years, and to put it into an ``addon``, that's how it was planned to put Poe2.

Unfortunately, my fears seem to be coming true, especially the new seasons, races and the mass of new adventures that you have created and programmed with a constant reliability that has made you the hack and slash giant game forge.
