POE2 is Very Susceptible to Real Money Transactions and Scamming

Whenever I turn on global I regret it. Well for a multitude of reasons but the most annoying of them is all the spam for selling orbs for real money, a.k.a. RMT or Real Money Transactions.

The problem is since crafting is so completely random and the currency drop rates dont support some of the more casual players they will be tempted to RMTs. Picture you are a casual evening player that cant play 12h a day, you cant craft your gear yourself because it is totally random and you cant farm enough currency to get the super blaster build from youtube. There will be a strong draw to RMT.

You can try to ban the RMT farmers but that is not a simple task. What needs to be fixed is the systems that drive players to RMT. For example, blaster builds that wipe the map and depend on one super expensive piece of gear or anemic drops of exalt orbs in campaign and early maps. But finally, the problem is the inability to craft good gear because POE2 is a very large complicated slot machine.

Fix the systems and RMT people will lose their customer base.

Only becasue you asre playing a build that is super F' broken and you will be sobbing when they nerf it into the ground. That isnt a typical situation that will make GGG money. If they dont nerf builds like yours the game will fail.
They can remove it by making the in-game instant buyout(item exchange) and then removing the trade window. No way to directly trade? No rmt.

OR sell currency as a cheap microtransaction. Whatever price makes bots too expensive to run. But that has other problems.

OR add a timer on the trade window to limit the number of trades per account.

Idk if you should be proud for playing most broken builds in this game , aka twitch builds , aka builds every streamer plays.

Once they get nerfed (and they will) all of that 70 divine (a piece) gear will cost 5 divines , if that , and your 500 hours investment will sink.

Then you will come to these forums and cry and maybe then you will realize how people who do not play meta feel

I am playing this game since 2013, and next league I will leaguestart with meta again. It's simple rule if u want to hit ur marks. if u choose to play bs, be responsable for ur decision

Yes, they will be nerfed next league and other classes\ builds will be meta or good\ strong league-starters. I will ask once again, what is new for you? For Path of Exile? We did this 12 years strait and will do another 12 years. The only question - ur goals of ur playtime. As for me, the marks are the same all over the time: get as much profits as I can. Clear all ubers optional (personaly, I don't like bossing, cuz I suck at arcade)
