Trial of sekhemas is the worst part of the game.

- Gather Relics with Honour Resistance, Maximum Honour, Maximum Defenses. You may not succeed in one run but you may get good relics to make later runs easier.

- Build lots of maximum life and energy shield. (they increase maximum honour)

- Kill every monster to get Sacred water as many as you can to buy buffs from the merchant.

- Choose a route that doesn't get any afflictions and grant a boon.

- Avoid Gauntlet rooms unless they lead to boon rewards.

- You can watch boss movesets from YT. Especially the 4th boss.

The trials are fine, the honour is trash. Sanctum is one of the most boring and unfun mechanics in 1, but at least it was optional. Now it's forced as a barrier of ascendancy. This garbage needs to be removed and replaced with death means failure.

Hey! My spark archmage got no problem with sanctum.

I have literally never failed sekhemas trial and I am SSF. You people must not be using honor resist relics or something. When I did third ascend I never even dipped below 75% honor at any time.

I grew to enjoy the trials of sekhemas over time.
Once you learn how to play it becomes fun.
I haven't gotten to the 4th boss yet though, so my opinion might still change

Bite the bullet; spend a divine and let yourself get carried - there are plenty of offers for such services here in forum and in chat.

The intension of advanced trials is that they are supposed to be very challenging - this is nothing you get through with a "08/15 youtuber build".

Sekhema really sucks if you do it for the first time, but once you have good relcis and use some of your brian capacity it gets a lot better. With first time i mena your first char and first and second ascendancy afterwards it becomes mostly trivial content. You do have to farm or buy some relics. To reach 75% resistance.

For example you can block the rotating fire traps with a shield if you have one equipped. With evasion you often just can run through it. Thats what i do.

...or even dodge roll.

Thats actually bad because the are rotating and not going straight. U might end up getting damaged.
