Trial of sekhemas is the worst part of the game.

Title. Just remove the honour system completely. I killed arbitter t4 and xesht t4.
The honour system AND having to run the whole dumb ass gauntlet spam just to get to the boss is what makes this the worst experience ever.

One of the worst parts for me as well. Trivialized anyway, can just pay 20ex for a carry. 100% unfun content for me.

+1, I think the most disgusting part is that Bahlak, The Sky Seer BOSS and terrain debuffs.

Sounds to me you're using spark archmage or one of the other op meta nobrain-builds. Sanctum is for people with skill.

Not really. You just CBA to engage with the mechanics of it. Go play Chaos Trial for your accendancies then.

Or alternatively you can actually learn how to do these trials and do them on your own without big struggle.

Man, I just don't understand why you even here. You are just ranting about everything in PoE 2, everything is bad in your eyes and need to change. You are not here to provide a feedback, you are here to just vent your emotions.

I thought the same early on, trust me it gets better. Once you have 75% honor resistance relics and merchant relics it's extremely easy and extremely rewarding. I stopped mapping the last 2 days and been farming sanctums

I honestly hated the Trial of Sekhema's and was DREADING getting my third ascendency.

But then I decided to take a very cautious approach and did some things that really helped.

1. Purchased some Relics with +Honour resist & +% Max Honour.
I have three relics that give me a combined total of +80% Honour resist and +78% Honour. Total Honour is 2669 but with 75% (capped) resistance, gives me an effective honour pool of well over 10000 honour.

2. I practiced running the trials with my char every time I levelled up. This meant I had no down-side risk to losing XP and in the process, I farmed more relics and got to know the various maps quite well and got to know what choices worked well with my character and what did not. You can likely find lowish level Baryas (below level 60) to practice with and just run them.

3. I did one floor at a time.
You need to do three floors to get the third ascendency.
You don't have to do all three at once, you can literally take a break and remove the barya from the altar and come back to it a bit later.
Even if you level up a little to get more power or come back with better gear.

4. There is a shop in between each floor. At the end room with the chests. Speak to the Djinn guide (forget her name) and you can trade water for boons that are very helpful like a lookahead boon and more.
Don't trade your water for keys. Buy advantages to help with the next floor.

All of that meant I was able to cruise through the Trial in about 35 min and got my third ascendency with like 150 honour loss from a total of 2669 honour.
