What point in SSF?

Ok, you can't trade and party, so how it is compensated?

Exactly - how much more loot quality and quantity you have?

general chat has less spam

Certain players enjoy having to farm for items themselves instead of spending 1ex or figuring out alternative solutions for their build. It also makes a lot of drops way more exciting.

SSF is intended to be a challenge mode and as such there is no need for compensation.

I never trade, so no need for trade league. however, i just migrated all my chars to public to get around playstation taxes by using my own personal guild stashes which are unavailable in ssf. i cant deal with remove only stashes every time i switch platforms. its fun to play via ipad on ps5 withcontroller. even better now with loot filter

i am completely casual and may never even reach maps in poe2

there is no difference in drop rates between ssf and trade

Lol, it SHOULD be as, i.e. in D4: tons of loot, tons of good loot

Player, to never deal with RMT paradise trade leagues, should not suffer without loot

Allow just 2 skills then - for challenge.
And reduced movement speed in 10 times - why not?

Just the same as trade league, but you can't trade

You asked, I am not here attempting to make a case for it. I do know how to turn off channels. There is less spam due to the bots not able to sell to ssf players. This also includes whispers or random party invites. Others have also answered there are no buffed drop rates, though I would join a mode like that if it existed.

It is similar to d1 and d2 when players labelled themselves 2legit (reference mc hammer) but there was no proof that a game mode like ssf now provides.

Now that I play standard, I do disable general chat and have to add to ignore often for spam. I was able to leave general chat on in ssf most of the time

According to your profile you have played a fair bit of PoE1 over the last 10 years. Surely you knew about the SSF rules, right?

I wasn't there for that, but from what i've heard they added ssf because there was demand from players for that mode. and yes, they wanted it as a challenge mode without any benefits. Like HC but different.
