My account was banned instead of just a chat ban. Why does the ban system work like this?
Same thing happened to me.

" And how did it end up? Did they unban you or not? Is the support team responding to you? |
|
" I have not heard of anyone actually getting their problems solved so far, I've been asking almost daily in their Discord if ANYONE who has been in contact with their customer support has gotten their issues solved, no one has ever said that they did. |

" The amazing work of technical support. Yesterday I posted my story on Steam, on a forum, and discussed it in a large Discord community. I received dozens of different stories about how accounts were banned for all sorts of reasons. From harmless jokes about Elon Musk to people getting banned just for playing the game. And NONE of them managed to get unbanned. Everyone wrote to support, but either didn't get a response at all, or got one after 1-2 weeks with some clarifying questions. They responded and then, poof, support disappeared for good. So, for those who are currently playing and not banned, I can only recommend one thing: don't use chat at all, interact with other players as little as possible, and remember that if you get banned, it's forever. The only case of an unban I've heard of was when they banned a streamer with 10k+ viewers on Twitch. Surprisingly, technical support communicated with him and unbanned him within a couple of hours. So, if you're just an ordinary player, GGG doesn't care about you. |

" I completely understand your frustration with how things are being handled. It's clear that GGG needs to reevaluate their customer support system. It's not fair to blame the support team itself—they're likely overworked and under-resourced—but it's on GGG to invest in a better, bigger, and faster support infrastructure. They need to allocate resources to hire more staff, train them properly, and compensate them fairly. Without the right incentives and resources, no team can operate at the level needed to handle a growing player base. It's not just about keeping up with tickets; it's about creating a system that values every player equally, whether they're an influencer or just an average fan. When GGG prioritizes image over addressing the root problems, it's a sign they're not investing enough in the backbone of their community. If they truly care about their players, they need to put their money where their mouth is and build a support system that reflects that. At the end of the day, it's their responsibility to ensure everyone gets the help they deserve. Also, it's concerning how easily players can get banned from using in-game chat. The fact that automated systems can issue bans without any human review is ridiculous. This lack of oversight means that innocent comments can lead to unwarranted bans and lock-outs, making players hesitant to engage in the community, which this whole game is based around. My recommendation is also to use the in-game chat at your own risk. I can't believe it has to be said, but it does. |

" Yes, I completely agree with you that technical support should respond faster, especially during peak times when players flood in. Let me give you an example. I regularly play Hunt: Showdown, and a couple of times I encountered bugs during the game that either resulted in me being blocked or items disappearing. And this happened during peak player influx. Each time, support responded within a few hours and resolved the issues. Or take an example from a corporation like Apple. The number of users relative to the number of employees is much higher than at GGG. However, yesterday, when I sent a request to technical support, I received a response within 5 hours. And these aren't isolated incidents. The situation with support at GGG is critical. They ban not just the chat, but the entire account. The player doesn't even have a way to find out how long the ban is for. And there are no tools other than communicating with support to find out the status of the block. This is unfair to players who invest time, money, and effort into the game, especially in early access. This is the most loyal audience that has supported GGG by purchasing a developing game. And what do they get in return? The negativity of a sudden ban. Thank you. |

You don't understand anything, IF GGG used AI you wouldn't be waiting a week+ for a basic level ticket to be actioned.
They don't use AI. And i told you why it could result in a ban in the other post, stop "joking" about selling your account, it's RMT or advertising RMT and it has more negative effects on players and retention which is a direct loss to GGG which surprise they can ban you for, permanently if they like. " Please read carefully what I am writing about. I am not saying that GGG uses AI for customer support. I am talking about the fact that there is an AI bot operating in the global chat, which bans users after receiving a certain number of reports. Also, you are trying to tell me not to make jokes. But why? I have already responded to you, and it is clearly stated in the thread that I immediately sent an email to GGG with apologies, explanations, and a promise not to do it again. In other words, I immediately acknowledged my mistake. Even in the post, I mention that I won’t do it again. However, instead of providing constructive feedback, you keep repeating that I did something bad. |
|
" Sorry but the fact that GGG doesn’t even have a modern marketplace, there’s 0 chance they have AI for chat moderation. At most it flags a user for specific keywords and if there are multiple reports closely related to that, then the system triggers a lockout/mute. |
|
" In fact, implementing AI is much simpler than introducing an internal trading platform. It’s literally just a matter of taking a ready-made bot (like in Telegram, for example) and configuring certain parameters in it. Of course, they don’t have a system like ChatGPT, but minimal message moderation through a bot is a task that one programmer can handle in just a couple of hours. |
