Upcoming Changes in Path of Exile 2 0.1.1

So when will the issue of skeletons standing still be fixed?

I see so many people complaining about the rate of the coming changes or GGG communication, even now after the announcement of what I would call a substantial and very good update coming later this week. I really don't get it.

PoE2 is at the beginning of its early access, of course there are bugs, balance issues and some systems are not fully baked yet. The improvements are coming based on players feedback and complaining about the rate of changes won't change a thing.

Some changes are relatively easy to implement, and we'll see them in the next patch, while other changes take more time. You can't expect to have all the improvements ready tomorrow, just because you think there is a problem right now.

GGG also needs to decide on the best strategy to implement changes, even if they could add all classes, missing skills and finish all improvements right now, they probably shouldn't. These things need to be introduced over time, so there is enough time for everything to be fully tested and the strong momentum is built before the full release.

People also need to have a reason to come back to the game and test the improvements, so the ideal solution is 2-3 months cycles with substantial changes instead of constant small fixes just to please small minority of impatient players.

I also think there should also be some content left for the final release of the game. This way we can attract more players at the most important moment - the full release of the game. The more players, the better revenue for GGG and as a result we'll have better and better game for years to come.

My message to all impatient players is to relax and enjoy the ride, I'm pretty sure the game will be great, as GGG proved time and time again.

GGG, you are doing AMAZING work, please ignore the complains coming from people who have no idea how to run the game, and only care about their own little dopamine hits.

The irony that you put out a wot expecting people to read it while completely dismissing other's maybe valid complains lol. Nothing against you but it was funny.
I'd rather have smaller, monthly patches than some big release more rarely :/
Ascend with precision!
Do we know when the patch will be ?
Will we get chance to respawn person from party? Why play in a party if you can't help Your friend? One or two times would be enough or how many portals are still there. One respawn closes one portal.
My only question is are the on death effects and ground effects getting balanced as far as damage? that's great you show us a warrior sitting in the on death effects and not getting touched but where's your monk not getting 1 shot every map by constant spams of chaos orbs, fire and ice exploding AoEs, and the rare that can explode corpses so once you walk in and explode the pack you are just DONE.

Playing Monk is extremely fun but hopefully it get's balanced because i feel like the devs are pushing me to play a bow again.

Can we please have 6 portals back?

I'm reading pretty much everything what's been said here, and I can't wait to see the upcoming patch notes, hopefully GGG releases them very soon.

Some of the complaining comments, though, seemed ridiculous to me.

"I want the game to be exactly as I say, and I want it now" - to loosely quote some people :)

Being developer myself I can only admire the speed of GGG's changes and their transparency in communication

Two months would be a perfect balance for me, 5 or 6 big changes and then the full release

This makes me so glad GGG isn't Activision. That is what happened to BO6 recently. They brought in all the big name streamers to tell them how to make multiplayer and the game is virtually unplayable unless you use cheats. They've lost so much of their real fanbase because of it.

So, thank you GGG for making the game how you envision it to be and only fix things that make it literally unplayable.
