Please integrate some form of PVP! Seriously :)
The game has excellent scaling and item rarity dynamics. As well build variety. For me it feels like a waste to grind without testing my character (on another person). I know it helped make diablo 2 big. Stretched out the endgame. Built a community. I don't think balancing is necessary in a game like this. You should be able to grind out a build. It's more of a loot and effort/time/luck/trade game. You wouldn't need to invest too many resources into developing pvp. Maybe work on it after you've finished building out the rest of the game first. But having it eventually would be something great to look forward to! |

After reading the patch notes & listening to them speak at DM's interview, it seems like their understanding of 'meaningful combat' is completely misaligned with what the community seems to want out of the game.... And it seems to be the hill they want to die on, not sure how that'll go long term
