Endgame is unplayable for casual players
ggg Really likes their shit overtuned at first. that being said, even after they nerf the burning ground, the rares, the mobs, change the layout of the map, make endgame really good... if they don't let go of the silly one death per map poe2 will lose me as a customer.

" You may get your 6 portals. (It is a possible outcome) But you can forget about death penalty. This will never happen. |
|
" Well it does not technically "mean", but it is kind of an unspoken rule. You cannot have the game accessible for every stupid choice that can be made, and still make it a challenge for optimal gameplay. It is not a thing. And as a result you have "casuals" that sit in act 2 opening groups "HELP WITH X", and at the same time you have people clearing stacked delirium breaches with 1000% magic find. How do you even compare those? |

ok so we get 6 portals now for lower level citadels and pin boss + the citadels get a marker that can be seen through the fog so u know where to go to.
seems thumbs up? I love all you people on the forums, we can disagree but still be friends and respect each other :)

I just wanted to reply/clarify on few points:
* I have finished the 6 acts with no noticeable issues. Only Trials of Sekhemas took me an afternoon as I was low level. * I love theorycrafting I am not afraid to change my build to optimize it. * I have stacked up Energy Shield and Resistances I still sometimes get one-shot by bosses (and sometimes mobs) in Waystone 1. * I am a Diablo 4 player Best game I played in years for the first 50 hours. Then the lack of new content and endgame hit you hard. Nonetheless I have two 100 characters. No unique although. * There is a trade-off between time and skills/builds. Best builds and skilled players will go through the content much faster and will reach higher tiers. Casual players just take more time to get there. you spend few hours, you gain few levels, it becomes easier. With the current Atlas map, the more casual you are, the harder it gets. You lose EXP and never an additional level on the passive tree. Your gear doesn't improve. Boss fights are unforgivable. * It forbids experimenting with the game, or trying out higher tiers to challenge yourself. As previously mentioned, dying is way too punitive. i never understood this argument of having limited time makes it somehow harder to play this game

" I think my max character ever, in poe1, was 96. I'm fine with that, I don't play the tankiest of builds. Now I have 3 characters at about 88, 91, 92. Things slow WAY down, and because of that deaths are exponentially punishing. You kind of got to kind of change your mindset away from thinking you NEED to hit max level, which again is something I have never done with 1600 hours in PoE1. |

" May be not enough? i am lvl 86 infernalist and i can tank waystone 15...there seems to be an issue on your character or you rushed it and it is weak as a crisp. i have 40+ and 2 kids under 4 and i find end-game fun as you can DIE. Otherwise, what's the point to play if there are no penalties :-) only bugging point for me are those silly people that don't understand "STICK TOGETHER" and rush solo the map to loot all the stuff. the rest is part of the game, you like it or not and if not then move along :-) |
