I'm honestly starting to think that some of the people here just post complete nonsense, just to stir up conflict
Yeah, nothing ever happens bro. Like the map fiasco some leagues ago, that was also "complete nonsense" backed with data until a streamer got their own data so GGG had to acknowledge the issue.

When you get tired of fixing more nonsense, let's see if you remember the console filter

I was hoping the recent patches would resolve some of the performance issues, but the framerate drops and stuttering is becoming pretty unbearable for me :(
Agree , this is ruining it for me

Nice, but we need loot filter on console, and we would like to know when we could have it. Thanks

I'm pretty sure these problems with PC freezes are a Windows issue. I play the game on Arch Linux with Proton and have had 3 crashes in about 300 hours of playtime. (and I'm using the exact same PoE2 client for Windows)
And none of that was a PC freeze, the game just froze. Everything halted.
The game itself wouldn't even had the opportunity to freeze the PC, as this needs system level interaction. Even if you run the game in admin mode, it has no direct kernel access in windows.
Only drivers, kernel modules and the operating system itself can lead to system freezes. So I am pretty sure this is a Windows problem, with some sort of driver issue/bug.
I had 2 crash also in total and im on win 10 ..
Its a component in the pc like amd players crush ALOT
so far with intel im fine
Yep, i am on win10, 1060 and i-5340, not a single crash in 200 hours
Same here, AMD 7950X3D, 4090, 64GB DDR5 on W11 24H2, DX12 and somewhat over 300hrs right now, nearly no crashes just when some patches/hotfixes occurs or the server went down otherwise all fine, no freezes etc
And on 2nd and 3rd setup i got, similiar to my first, no crashes or freezes so i cant really confirm that its game-related, well maybe there are some problems that can crush the game but as said it dont need to be game-related

I can't load any characters (Directx 12, Multithreading). "Failed to prefetch virtual memory (error: 8)" every three tries.
prob turn off virtual memory, dunno why some still using this with an NVMe
or allocate more Vmem, maybe check your RAM´s
Freezing /BsoD are related to the OS / drivers / RAM
If its a Client prob. the Game will just close

I'm doing affinity, barely ever had a crash since then (maybe once a day, I can live with that in EA). Before I started setting affinity I hard crashed between 5-7 times per day on a brand new "4070 Super" gaming rig.
I'm not salty. I know it's early access and bugs will be found and fixed.
I do think it's something that should be prioritized though and responded to by the team.

except people are reporting it on Linux as well as Windows. This is across a plethora of reports in the bug forums where people have different specs, drivers, OSs etc. The only variable that hasn't changed is POE.
