please give me and the others who can't trade some insight on what is going on to cause this and what to try to fix it on our end, if not actually fixing the problem if it's from your end

Poe 2 to me really feels more like Poe 1.5
This is it right here. All reused assets, cut down to the bare minimum. The maps and art look fantastic but everything else is just rehashing the same mistakes they did in PoE 1. They slapped a shiny 2 to the end of their name to sell early access for a free game.
Just like the guy after you said. I firmly believe this was to be the "updated" PoE 1 but that fucking Tencent wanted more money.
They still refuse to address exploiters/dupers/scammers but hey, why bother when people pay for trash.
bro its EARLY ACCESS, if this was the full release I'd understand being mad, but the game isn't anywhere close to being done............ so stop crying, the game will get better.

When will be able to see tower radius from a hideout map device. There was no warning on the pack that came with Dreadnought Hideout that said "Map Device does not work as intended"
This happens in all hideouts. Not just dreadnought.
Yes. And?
This particular hideout, came from a $160.00 USD supporter pack, that this particular supporter (who was already invited to EA) purchased specifically to have a hideout immediately, disregarding whether or not hideouts would be unlocklable.

Windows 11 - 24H2
I am developer and worked in couple of companies, and I have seen that as normal practice. I have seen our POs and PMs not having issue with giving next early release for testing to clients just before Christmas break in our company, when we knew there will be no one to give a s** about that. You know why? Because it was early release, and it was not on the production. And PoE 2 is early access, so we are technically all testers. Game is NOT RELEASED YET. This is early stage of development, as GGG said that their plan is for make a release from 6 to 12 months after EA. So having crashes, bugs, all sort of things is just normal part of that stage of the game. We all knew that we are playing in game that is not ready. But if you ask for me, it is in very good shape. Sure, there are bug, crashes etc. but I was expecting like crashes on bosses, missing textures, missing animations, some combinations of skills making whole screen blow up, physics to be broken etc.
I know i signed up for early access and i know that early access means i will encounter bugs and glitches.
I think the game, at the base, is in pretty good shape to. Didn't say anything about that. I play Mercenary, allot needs fixing but first things first.
That i wouldn't go live like this and you would is just a difference of opinion, no hard feelings mate.
Difference is that this is the PRODUCTION enviroment and we signed up for EARLY ACCESS to the PRODUCTION enviroment to help find bugs and such to make the game better.
We even paid 30 bucks to help find bugs, for a game that's gonna be free when it's out of EA. How's that for having hart for the game.
No, it is not. We have access to it, but it is not production. Or maybe we have different understanding of it. When we released product, and 5% of bank branches had access to it, no one called that a production. It was extended test, but not production. Access is limited, buy paying for it, but limited.
It does not matter whether we paid or not. We were not forced, everybody knew that it is gonna be early access. And that means, that this game can be in the state, that it is not possible to play at all.
I have 250+ hours now and from my perspective, this is far from being uplayable.

So as someone who has been experience constant crashing, i can safely say this patch did not fully solve the issue.
i7-13700k
32GB DDR5
4080 super
23H2 windows (not the bugged 24H2)
In order for me to play the game without constant crashing, i have to leave the game in Vulkan instead of DX12. I then always have to remove a CPU core from the poe2 process by messing with the affinty option in task manager.
Once i do that, i typically don't crash anymore (there are some cases where it does once, but after that, its stable but you can feel the difference in Vulkan compared to DX12 - not as fluid but my machine can handle it).
Hope this helps someone as its all done without messing with the bios and the CPU max thresh.
Edit - The only caveat to this is each time the game is launched, you have to fix the affinty in task manager. no big deal but wanted to point that out. I will probably create a powershell script to handle this so its no longer manual.
you know it did work for a bit but i still experienced another hard freeze with looping sound even with 2 cores unchecked. I dont understand how a "windows update" can fuck up a game this bad. And only this game. Game is gonna destroy my newly built pc
Sorry to hear that. i am fortunate enough to not have full system freezes, but only CTD's every time it crashes. Anectodicaly, i have heard a lot of full system freezes occur more on AMD but its not exclusive to that chipmaker.
When i pull the event view logs, i see the following - points to the kernelbase.dll in windows:
