Is % leech bugged?
I have like 10% phys damage leech as mana and 7% leech as life.
My character deal a lot of lightning damage but also 1000-3000 phys damage... but the only thing I can hear is "Out of Mana", "No mana" and no, also my life don't leech... why? I should leech something like 200 mana per second... thanks god auras and heralds now are on spirit, can't imagine if we had mana reservation! Come on GGG, do you really want players to come back to PoE 1? - 1 death per map - Shitty drops - Corpses exploding everywhere with insta kill - No leech - No HP increases from tree Path of Exile was such a fun game with stupid facetanking builds, why make a more boring sequel? It's a single player game, let us have fun and feel powerful ;) Still belive in you GGG guys <3 Much love <3 Last bumped on Jan 9, 2025, 1:27:46 PM

I'm having the same issue. The mana leeched doesn't match how much should be leeched.
If you do any elemental damage at all, mana leech is severely reduced. If you use the support to remove all elemental damage, you will find your leech increases substantially. It will also ruin your damage but it's the only thing that works so far. |

For real?
I have a lightning arrow build, what should i do? Use basic attack for leech mana and life? Hahaha is that a joke? They should fix that crap asap! I'm fine with the fact they don't want to have facetanking builds based on life leech... but mana leech? Come on! I don't wanna live attached to my mana flask at level 83! I put % mana leech on my rings because I prefer some sustain than damage, let me at least have that This is Path of Exile not Elden Ring... Elden Ring at the moment is funnier and easier :D Last edited by AndySkandalo#2796 on Jan 8, 2025, 4:45:50 PM

There's such thing as leech resist on mobs which probably makes your leech useless.
This and a lot of other stats needs heavy rebalance (armor, looking at you) |

As a fellow Elden Ring player. Elden Ring is harder to me. The difference is that in Elden Ring I can always increase my skill to overcome the challenge. You can use any weapon to beat enemy with enough skill. That isn't the case here.
POE2 artificially nerfs mechanics in sometimes unseen ways in order to force players into certain playstyles. Which in turn force them to gear up to overcome challenges. Then they limit the loot to force you to grind instead of playing the way you want. |

" You're right! Found this: "So, apparently it's not that the blood mage leech node isn't working. It's that it's almost completely being nullified by the new leech resistance stat mobs have. Go and use an endgame comet on a low level mob in act 1 or something, and with the 10% leech node, you'll leech several hundred HP. Then go into an endgame map and comet a mob. You'll leech maybe like 1-10 HP or sometimes literally 0 HP, which is why people think it's bugged because it scales with mob level. That basically makes leech completely useless against anything remotely relevant, especially because I haven't found any way to mitigate mob leech resistance so far. The devs said the leech resistance stat was there to keep it from becoming overtuned and to make it more straight forward for new players. Well, it seems straight forward enough that it's basically useless for everyone right now and a massive noob trap on top of that. You would need MILLIONS of damage on a single hit for it to do any kind of noticeable leech at the moment." FOR REAL??? This is totaly anti-fun! Now I'm mad as hell! Who the hell thought this was a good idea? I was hoping for a bug but no... this is just a Path Of Exile 2 mechanic? Damn GGG, DAMN! |

I noticed the same thing so I changed to equipment that would give me life on kill instead. Better than nothing...

Yeah, I haven't found any amount of leech that does anything later on. Sitting at 75% mana leech and leeching 0 mana is kind of crazy.

" Totally useless against bosses... They need to remove that stupid leech resistence (at least on mana)... is the dumbest thing I've ever seen in my life... I cannot even belive someone had such a stupid idea! AND OTHERS THOUGHT IT WAS A GOOD IDEA! |

I for one love when things don't do what they say they do. Especially when it's because of hidden mechanics that you have no way of knowing about until after you've dedicated a build to trying something. So fun.
