the harsh reality.

is you didn't add to the conversation. and you just trolled because you're just as mad that poe2 has way to many flaws for a project with 5+ years attached to it. I know I am.

Either way communication is essential in this day and age. it's been over 1 month into a 6 month project goal. sorry for holding standards to want a good game turn into a great game.

Lol we've already had four patches. They don't owe you a timeline or roadmap, and there are legitimate business reasons for not doing that right now.

by GGG standards they've had 2 patches since release and the rest were hotfixes.(you can see the title in their forums post) and only the dec 16th patch has had balance changes and everything else has been bug fixes.

Yeah you can be semantic and technically correct, but you know that for layman's purpose patch just means an update.
Also that's 100% what I expect. They're prioritizing bugs over balance. Not sure why anything else would be expected. They're most likely in crunch time trying to deal with all the issues being reported. If they did put out a statement (which the closest they've done is update the known issues thread) they run the risk of angering people of their pet issues aren't the most important, or if unrecorded development issues arise and they're unable to resolve something in the timberline they'd like. It's a difficult place to be in for them. Software development is hairy and unpredictable so you don't want to set expectations you might not meet, while you still do want to maintain some communication with the user base. So far I think they're doing pretty well. Mainly I just wish it was a little easier to find all their communication in a centralized place, ideally on the forums here or site front page. Currently I have to check the front page for some posts and Twitter for others and different forums for others.

I was never mad about PoE2. I am just disappointed. Forgive my post that is below your standards.

who's playing semantics now? you and I both know when anyone talking about a "patch" they mean balance changes with substantial changes not just hotfixes

what's worse is this is a thread about radio silence and you yourself show frustrations/ it's all around bad. If they can't do the bare minimum of updating the "news" section then there's not much to say other than they need to update their frontpage.

no one whos saying they want GGG to say anything of substance is saying they need a patch immediately, this is just a defenders argument
