Once the Twitch drop-fueled streamer craze dies down a bit more, and a few more weeks pass to make the "holiday break" excuse less impactful, we will see some real improvement (I hope).
Despite all my critical feedback I actually support PoE as a whole and rank it quite highly as my greatest games of all time. The more they ride this gross $30 EA launch success into typical corporate "donothingism", the more that sentiment fades. |

I think we'll start seeing more tangible plans later this week. Hopefully we won't have TOOOOO long to wait until we see some good changes / patches rolling out.

" I love POE and GGG has done a great job supporting and evolving it over the years. The POE2 EA launch has been a huge stain on my impression of them though. While I{ understand the circumstance, with the pressure to launch before the Holidays and the need to give employees time off during them, the lack of support available during that time period makes it a huge mistake in my opinion. They also basically said screw anyone still interested in POE1, they can just rot in settlers standard league limbo forever “Freedom is what we do with what is done to us.”

I love how people here link to this generic non-statement of "We're back" on Twitter.
I highly doubt that this is the communication people here are expecting when complaining about the lack thereof. |

It would be right to expect them to post an announcement on their official forums even if it said something like:
“Hello exiles! We hope you all had a wonderful holiday! We are returning, well rested and exited to get back to the grindstone. There is a lot of feedback and data that has been gathered over the past three weeks and it will take us some time to digest it, so please bear with us while we distill this new information and prepare a detailed announcement addressing what we have seen and the feedback from the community. In the meantime, we are working on bug fixes and other improvements. We appreciate you all and again, happy new year!” I would have expected this on Monday morning when they got back. For it to be going on a full week with total radio silence reeks of immaturity and an utter lack of professionalism. They do not respect or value their customers and it shows. Lol we've already had four patches. They don't owe you a timeline or roadmap, and there are legitimate business reasons for not doing that right now.

" by GGG standards they've had 2 patches since release and the rest were hotfixes.(you can see the title in their forums post) and only the dec 16th patch has had balance changes and everything else has been bug fixes. |
