Couch co-op game crashes on maps if one dies

While playing couch co-op and doing endgame maps anytime one of us dies the game will crash (screen goes mostly black, you can hear yourself casting but you can't see anything) It usually just hangs on this black screen for a while. The only way I know to get 'out' of it is to try and gate back to town. As soon as you gate the PS5 crashes ... I submit a bug report every time through playstation.

Sometimes it takes a few minutes to crash, other times less than 30 seconds once someone dies.

I have same and even also created similar topic (because in my case, player two often dies). And due to it, rarely the game let me end map, but in most cases crash.

Funny, that I was had crash also in strongbox, while two players still alive. But thankfully that was minor issue, due to it, that I and player two was been able to return map and the map was been previously completed.

Hi, I have the same problem, Crashes every time , Could be 5 Secounds could be several Minutes, this bug Along with Not being able to buy anything from Rituel ever, also using the Unique Tab in couch co op crashes the game every time, I bough somthing that crashes the game every time I use it lol , Please fix Loving the game but its supper buggy.

I drag my girlfriend play with me on PS5, she is pretty casual about it and doesn't care if she is dead, it's actually good so I can finish the map and leave her alone to do something else.

Now she is pissed off and stressed, coz she has to so focus so hard and stay alive for me for the entire mapping session.

Yup, this happens on PC too. And if it is P1 who dies, the second player can't pick up any waystones and they also can't re-enter the map even if they don't die, I guess if P2 is a guest player on the same account there is also a bug where they can't re-enter if one player dies? Such an unfortunate combo of bugs...

this issue is literally even worse than the missing loot filter.

in our case, the game crashes and we do send a report to GGG, but there was no mention in the patch notes, so I guess this problem is not a big deal for them :/

I went through the patch notes looking for this fix and nothing?
GG are there fixes that are not listed in patch notes?
Aslo cannot start a map in couch co op, need to log in each time on my own and open the map , then log out now player 2 can join and we log in together, VERY frustrating bug.

Unfortunately this issue is still there and really annoying. As previously mentioned by others, if i survive as player 2, i cannot pick up any waystones dropped.

This is one of the most annyoing issue on playstation for us.

The same. Every time one of us dies it crashes. Unplayable at this point, hoped that after patch it will be fixed but it's still the case. Leaving the game till it is fixed.
