Life vs energy shield question

I've said this before and gonna say it again because its still 100% Relevant
There is no arguing its far easier to scale energy shield compared to life

Melee classes rely on either Armour scaling + Armour applies to elemental or Evasion scaling + deflect rating

Armour Evasion hybrid is just straight garbage
To effectively scale Evasion along with Armour is far more difficult then scaling 1 flat stat alone like Evasion+Deflect only
Or Armour+Applies to Elements only

Evasion/Energy shield is a little easier but when I play evasion/ES, I focus heavily on ES and pretty much ignore deflect, Nodes are too spread out to get both Deflect scaling + good ES scaling, Evasion gives a chance to evade all hits besides slams, thats where ES fills the gap that deflect would have slightly prevented, Its either Evasion/ES and prioritizing deflect over ES, Or focusing on Evasion/ES scaling and forgetting about deflect as its too hard scale all equally and effectively

Now look at nodes that scale max ES, compared to life
Its a 1:15 ratio, for every 1 node to scale max life?
Theres 15 nodes to scale increased Energy shield

Yes spell casting classes rely on ES as their main means of damage reduction, Yet the nodes are so conveniently placed along your exact path, no need to go too far out of way
Chaos inoculation is so conveniently placed aswell allowing you to be immune to 2 damage types at the sacrifice of all your life
When you have 10k+ ES? Life is not an issue, anything regarding life like leech and regen can be completely ignored giving you more room to focus on other things like ES and damage

This is not the case for 1 ascendancy aka Blood mage, but thats 1 specific playstyle and things like spell leech makes it far too easy to sustain life + blood remnants etc something no other class has access to

Its not even an argument at this point that the game heavily favors ES and spell casting builds, There isn't enough nodes to properly scale life compared to ES, along with much alot needed on melee classes to properly sustain life while scaling armour resistances and armour applying to elemental, same goes for Evasion builds, Your points are limited and need to be spread out between so many different stats to be able to survive compared to spell casters

Ive been a melee player since 0.1, Finally couldn't take it anymore decided to try out spell casting mainly Oracle and Bloodmage and man is it a joke, Far easier to scale ES and sustain it, faster start of regen while being able to regen over 1k ES a second, Can life regen at 1k a second?

There is WAY TOO BIG OF A DISPARITY BETWEEN MELEE AND SPELL CASTING
Spell casting in its current state will always be better faster and more efficent then any melee build, This doesn't mean melee is impossible to play, just far slower and very limited compared to spell casting, theres way more I can do with spell casting, so many different ways to do what I want with plenty of points to spare compared to melee where I have to really think about my pathing and nodes to take etc, but hey this is just my take
1:15 ratio for max life nodes compared to ES nodes
Its favoring spell casting over melee
