POE2 Cosmetics Disappointingly Expensive

Some stuff is pricy. But noone force you to buy it.
If it doesn't look good enough for the price, just not buy it. Not to say that ingame gear in poe2 looks good, like you don't really need mtx for your character look good.
Theres some honesty needed...you dont have to buy them if you cant afford them. Yes its true. Just went shopping in Bremen/Germany and saw this beautiful silver Porsche, knowing i will nerver afford one. Life is a sad experience. At least sometimes.

I mean, if Porsche could continue selling the same exact car to multiple people, I might also argue the price point is bonkers, lol.
I dont mind supporting GGG through cosmetics, w/e the price, if i can afford it.

BUT MAN DO THE SKINS STINK IN POE 2!!

THEY ARE FUCKING UGLY!, make some good skins. some bad ass , good looking skins.

wtf is this blue crab bullshit?
The cosmetics are very expensive. I used my ea points on tabs and same for the points that came with my small supporter pack. I don't think I am likely to ever bother buying points for outfits. Supporter packs that contain an outfit and other things I like I would consider. But the game has a lot of frustrations presently that also put me off supporting GGG any further.

There's also the issue for me that classes are gender locked and if for a season I am playing merc or monk, I won't be buying cosmetics for them since I don't really like to play males in the first place. So I won't be buying them an outfit like I would a female character.
I have always felt that having higher quantity of happier fans and maintaining a better rep is faaaar better than lesser happy fans and having a bad rep and can still maintain a profit. My example below as I will keep these numbers very simple.....

$50 for a skin which only sells 20 of them...too expensive = $1000 made on that and left many disgruntled fans not able to buy skins and a bad rep for GGG which shows they do not care to please 'many' fans.

$10 for a skin which now sells 200 of them = $2000. Now has made many more fans happy and gives them a much better rep for not being a rip-off, money grab for a free game.

Its not like these things have to be manufactured, packaged, distributed and shipped and then sold through stores like back in the days.....

Sometimes these microtransactions really baffles me....no logic in their pricing imo.

High price = less sales means less happy fans and bad rep
Low Price = sells more that can maintain same profit or even MORE with happier fans and a better rep.

Yep, have had this complaint since POE 1. I spent $20 on michaeltransactions a single time, realized how little that got me, and never bought them again on this game. Alternatively I’ve spent at least $200 on league of legends skins because you just get more for your money. I assume they’ve done some modeling to determine what the best price point is to maximize profit… but I would personally spend more money if the individual transactions were cheaper.
Everyone says d4 has price tag. Assume you have 300$ to spend for one of the games. Can someone make the math and tell me how many considerably good skins you can have in each game?
Use recent prices of d4 on steam please.

Note: d4 is free on game pass. Your argument is invalid for game pass and you get more skins in d4.

Bye bye.. GGG cosmetics have been this price before you even existed.

Bye bye.

It's just my honest feedback as a consumer. The sticker shock was enough that I thought my brother must have miscalculated the points-to-dollar cost.

Basically never buy just points. The supporter packs come with a bunch of cosmetics plus the full value of points. Wait for one you like then you are double dipping on the points.

I was on the fence about grabbing a few cosmetics, but I didn’t realize the supporter packs include coins, and some seriously cool cosmetics.

On top of that, the way upgrades work — only paying the difference to reach the next tier while still getting all the benefits from each level, including the full amount of coins — is honestly better than most systems I’ve seen.

This model puts a lot of other games to shame. And I say that as someone who's played over 300 MMORPGs over the years.
you dont need to buy them

i also believe the game will also be free once its released

every company sells mtx, its nothing new.
